One thing I wonder is. If the money that he made off writing CoC was enough for him to live the rest of his life.

I have heard, and please correct me if I'm wrong. That the worst witnesses live on the Gold Coast. I guess it a bit like the reputation that the witnesses in florida and Miami have. BTW I loved GC witnesses they were the best.

UK Charity Commission Expand their Investigation
by Slidin Fast inthe paedophile/rape case in wales has attracted the interest of the the charity police.
it seems the clouds are gathering and the charitable status of the wt in the uk is in question.
not great for the dubs but superb for champions of truth and righteousness.. ironic isn't it.

If Wt knows what's good for them they will be slowly filtering the money out of the UK. I reckon they are worse than the Catholic Church.

I bet the snakes are going to get out of it. But slowly in the eyes of the public this will erode their credability, and their ability to recruit and retain its members. It just makes me so made how an organization that has caused so much hurt can now use the law to wipe their hands of the very problem they created.

Getting really for three days in hell
by cookiemaster inhey guys, there's another thing i wanted to share with you.
i know this topic has been discussed over and over again, but it's just so fun to complain about it.
we're going to the district convention this weekend.

The reason they can get away with this shit is because the R&F allow it. If enough people complained and just didn't turn up, then perhaps they would get the message. Vote with your feet and your wallets it's the only thing they understand.

What saddens me the most here, is that Wt can now just wipe their hands of it, by using the law to back them up.

How long have you known TTATT and continued to participate?
by LostGeneration ini continue to be stunned by posters reporting on the convention, lamenting the convention, complaining about going in serve-us and meetings, and yet continuing to participate in these activities.. a simple question.
how long have you done these things, fully knowing it is absolute bullshit?.
i couldn't handle it for more than six months before i basically outed myself.

There were a number of things I wasn't happy with while involved in the religion. While I was learning TTATT I honestly thought I could successfully play both worlds. With in a year of learning TTATT I walked out of the Hall for the last time. I'm now coming up to my 1 year anniversary of leaving. I'm finding it difficult but I have no intention of returning. BTW I'm not DFed just inactive.

jw.org getting out of hand
by Gorbatchov init seems the watchtower staff have made a runaway train with the introduction of the mark jw.org.. the combination of using a gadget driven platform and the fact that the common jw is low educated and easely influenced.
by new occurrings in their religion makes the situation getting out of hand.. proof: gb members wearing jw.org buttons during their speech, gifts with jw.org are given away, umbrellas with the jw.org are available.
jw.org is more important then god, his son and the gospel.. it's the gadget and the jw.org mark that counts.. i am so happy my grandparents are not confronted with these idiots.. it's a runaway train heading to the end of the track.. gorby .

My how times have changed. I remember been told off for giving a bible reading from a print off I had made of the bible. Now it's almost encouraged. I believe it's only a matter of time before they back track on social networking and fully embrace it.
