DIOGENESISTER- I think you hit the nail on the head with that scenario. I think that was exactly the case for the resulting outcome .
firstly i appreciate the work mark o’donnell does for the xjw community.
no doubt this has also been discussed numerous times before.
but with regard to those documents that were illegally stolen in that vice documentary.

I didn't get the impression the person in question burglarized the Kingdom Hall. It sounds more like this person just walked in and took the documents. It doesn't sound like the local elders found the front door of the Kingdom Hall busted open and the file cabinet pried open as well. It sounds more like an elder was just going through files and noticed them missing.
This adds clarity to the situation. As the person was a member of the corporation, with voting rights (e.g an elder with a key to the cabinet) this explains why watchtower couldn’t legally go after him, but subsequently removed him from the corporation for bringing that corporation into disrepute.
If this scenario is correct, it sounds as though the theft was more a protest, in that he deliberately wanted to be found out. Why steal the physical files. It would of been more concealing to have photographed the documents and returned them to the cabinet. Then when they turned up on the internet, just deny it. He would of been a fool to have thought that the other elders wouldn’t of noticed such important files missing.
If the objective was to be caught red handled, then why appeal his removal from the corporation (e.g disfellowshipping). Unless the purpose was just to stoke the hornets nest even more.

I certainly think, to disfellowship that individual on the grounds of theft was the right thing to do, regardless of the motives behind it. Any secular organisation would of done the same thing, perhaps more if legally able. Interestingly you stated that it was on the suspicion of theft, and not proven. If this was the case I can have a degree of sympathy for the individual, but at the end of the day wt is wt and they are a law unto themselves. But that’s my opinion.

My point is Mark, would law enforcement have the same view if they were confidential FBI files. With all due respect, I think your trying to say, because no physical property was damaged or removed then this justify illegally entering someone’s premises.
For example I would be annoyed if somebody broke into my home, and took paper files, to give to the IRS, because I was avoiding tax. Clearly I would be in the wrong, and this person certainly had the communities best interest at heart by exposing me. But it still gives them no right to break into my home . It also gives them no right to further hand these on to a news agency to be published to the world.

taking the knee became popular among sportspeople immediately after the death of george floyd in may 2020.. most football (that's soccer to you yanks) players are still taking the knee before matches more than a year later.. what has it achieved?
.
what do expect it to achieve in the future?.
This has probably been said a million times before. Colour aside, Mr Floyd was a piece of shit and certainly no Martyr. I often wonder what would of happened if it was Mr Floyd’s knee on the policeman’s neck. However, I won’t be going into that. That been said the force used certainly was extreme and not warranted. For that I can have a degree of sympathy for him, but there was a lot that could of been done to have stoped the situation escalating to the point it got to.

women!
don't listen to jazz!.
"new orleans jazz has a primitive tom-tom rhythm that does a single woman's peace of mind no good, is one of the insane claims from the tower about the harmful jazz music.. the fact is - if you check up the writings of the tower - the only safe music is the "kingdom songs" - and those do kill your brain if you love music:-)) .
