Where is Tony?
by Athanasius inon february 22, 2023, anthony morris iii was officially removed from the governing body of jehovah's witnesses.
a few months later it was revealed that the watchtower bought him a house in lumberton, north carolina.. however, and correct me if i am wrong, since leaving the gb nobody has reported seeing tony attending jw meetings or participating in field service.
in fact nobody has reported seeing him anywhere, not even at a local liquor store.

Half hearted JWs compared to past generations
by JohnR1975 inis it just me or has there been a massive change in jws of late?.
when i grew up in the cult they had a real sense of urgency and would do an hour minimum, these days it’s not even ten mins before coffee break.. same goes for everything else, it’s half hearted .

I have seen this happen with my very PIMI JW parent. Even with the advent of Zoom, and him been fully dressed, to now only been dressed to the point where the camera can see. I’m actually the one who pushes him to go to the physical meetings, because I think that physical contact is good for him. A few weeks back was his district assembly. On the Sunday of the convention, he suddenly decides he won’t go as he has previously seen it on zoom. So we went shopping in the convention city in stead. I all my days I never thought I would ever witness this. I thought this might be an awakened moment for him, but alas this wasn’t to be. Lol. Before the tick the box for FS, he was writing letters. As this could be a measure of his reliance on Jehovah AKA Watchtower. After the tick the box for FS he barely does that. It must be months since he last physically went out in FS. I sort of don’t mind this really as he’s advanced in years. At least with letter writing, and standing aimlessly at a cart, it keeps his mind ticking over, and gives him exercise delivering his letters.

That bethel was sold for $NZ52 million. That was 10 years ago, and none of the local PIMIs were any the wiser. The money just vanished. IMO as far as making roads into the JW community, this whole thing was a total waste of time. -

When wt sold that prime piece of realestate in south Auckland. They walked away with $52 million. Vanished gone and none of the locals are any the wiser. That’s probably 10 years ago.

The apostle John was at the site of Jesus crucifixion. Jesus’s entrusts the care of his mother to him.
Jesus certainly died upon a cross. I believed he did for about 15 years before I physically left the religion. The evidence is just overwhelming. I just wished it had been the thing to wake me up. Lol

JWlite can be the purple pill
by Teddnzo ini really like the red pill analogy in the matrix.
the one guy wishes he didn’t take the red pill and would have preferred to take the blue pill.. many used to be pimi which is the blue pill and then they wake up to the fact that the gb are not who they claim to be which is taking the red pill.. they go through conflict and confusion as to what to believe now?
does god exist?

Yeah i thought I could do this. Doing the JW routine, while been on JW-net, as it was called at the time. 18 months later I had walked out of the KH for good. But hey, if you can do it then good for you. Like my father I hope he never wakes up. Tbh he’s probably better off left in it.

Sad to say that this news report, will be a big nothing burger. This commission was a total waste of tax payers money, and had zero effect on the JWs . The NZ JWs are still totally unaware that there is even a problem of SCA with in the ranks

Covering up bathroom mirrors at the assemblies!!!
by nojudgement inthis was one of the craziest things i remember about the summer conventions.
i would go into the sister's bathrooms and the mirrors would all be taped up with brown paper so that we couldn't look at our reflections.
were were amish or something?

I’m just curious as a side point. But can anyone hear to testify about eating food in the venue, that had to have the wrappers removed.

How the JWs Handle a Member Visiting Another Church: What Is Your Experience?
by LauraLynn ini grew up a jw but my parents were not regularly attending services at a kh.
they used to, and were thoroughly indoctrinated though.
as is the jws habit of visiting non-attenders, 2 sisters came to my mom and dad's door one day to inquire of our well-being.

5 years after leaving the JWs I started attending the Catholic Church. Best thing I ever could have done, in reconnecting my faith in God. As far as dealing with PIMI relatives, I’ve found the best approach is the less said the better things will turn out.
