new strategy to da/df millions who have left.

i'm wondering if there isn't a new policy of da'ing all those who no longer attend or are inactive "publishers" (find that in the bible!).

i've read a number of threads on this board whereby people are now being hunted-down, nazi-fashion, if when queried, "are you one of jw?

Now that I am DA'ed.....

well dec 17 is the first day that i finally got out of the borg, thanks for all your help in making me see the real world.. .

i wrote my letter after many arguements with my highly fanatic jw wife of which i think divorce will probally follow as has been witnessing to me ever since my doubts 2 years ago.

ok so its hard, no firends, well at least i do have a few here.

PS I also went back to school,write draw, paint and crochet now that I'm not trying to save the world LOL

The Elders, part two

the elders came over this morning as promised.

he called before to explain why so as not to show up under false pretenses.

he said yesterday when he called, he was with a service group so he said he was an "old friend" and wanted to come visit.

How do you fill your spiritual need , EWjW's?

since i am free from the chains of the wt and their rules, i am becoming so much more open minded to looking into other forms of spiritulity.

i just read comf's thread about his wicca experience and it was soooo interesting .

i know many on this board have their own way of dealing with their need for spirituality.

This poem explains alot my garden is my closest I can get to "worshipping God" and of course playing with my Grandbaby NOW THAT IS HEAVEN!!!

For the victims_ The world is so much like a rose, varying layers. It takes time to see, what the true colors may be. Yes, there are thorns, some small and needle sharp. Seems those on the most beautiful, are like knives. Sometimes, while tending them, after being pricked again and again. I worry that the wounds will become infected, or that they may scar. I wonder why I bother, There are other things I could tend. But none as beautiful, none that smell so sweet. So, I put up with the needles, I live with the knives. Because I tend the roses, not the thorns. Sheila Madonia (Roses are the world and it's wonders Thorns are the abusers and their enablers)

Ok I fess up my FAVORITE was Thundercats and Incredible hulk but I was grown and watched it with my son EVERYDAY I still almost cry when I see the figures and stuff

Are JWs loosing it?

personally, i am more of a lurker than a poster, which i guess is because i am still very much on the fringes of the organization.

although many here have become bitter due to their experiences in the truth, i am sure that many of us look back on some really great times we had.

there was a time when there was a great feeling of optimism, new families (not just the odd individual here and there) were studying and coming along.

I will give the example of all the hoards of ones I have experienced I lived in the CABOOL MISSOURI congregation! when I first came into the JW's there was an elderly couple,german FAITHFUL that had survived WWII and were amazing to listen to. The congregation would squirm and sigh when he gave talks (although he was an elder) and NOT LISTEN because of his accent when he would comment. They missed the most amazing answers because of their ignorance, we learned so much from he and his wife who had been a seamstress for royalty before the war. Ignorance is what is making then self-destruct and many issues you mentions and I say THE SOONER THE BETTER, be cause I was a LOSER by falling for their crap and my kids and hubby so I hope they crumble before they can hurt anyone else
