Does anyone else get S.A.D.?

also known as seasonally affected disorder.

i have been kind of "down" since october.

the lack of sunshine always gets me.. ~aztec

I too have the problem of my energy and mood going downhill mid October. My neighbor actually has a special light due to the severity of hers...suffice to say I don't see her ALL WINTER she get mean So in Summer we go back to the normal routine.

I live for sunny days in winter and we are really thinking of moving to Florida due to 6months of each year I am not myself at all. I gain weight, I sleep ALL the time and I am not productive it sucks...

after leaving chat last night, i was in bed snuggled next to thunderrider thinking.

one of the group had been doing blurbs of kingdom songs, i don't remember any songs, or any scriptures or hardly any names of the books, i don't remember quotes from the stage or comments made by others.

have any of you ever felt this way?

I think my husband DA'd over the phone

i don't know where to begin with this.. we had a meeting scheduled for monday nite (tomorrow), the inactive call.

we decided to cancel the meeting and i've been working on a letter to the elder who was supposed to come over.

i wanted to tell him how we felt and that we just wanted to back away gracefully.. so when my husband called him to cancel, he told him that he couldn't be the witness the congregation expected, etc.

My hubby was so scared of being disfellowshipped, we've had Christmas stuff up for two years. Unless they DF without telling us we are just gone. I'm not sure if you have family or what that is keeping you worried.

My husband thought the world would end <no pun intended> if we left, you know what it didn't We have been much happier and DF or DA only has the power if YOU let them. I look them right in the eye <as they run from me LOL> I wonder sometimes what they said if we were DA or DF but it the scheme of things does it really matter. They don't ever witness on our street anymoreso I guess we will never know.

I am disappointed the judge isn't HEARING the friggin case before he brings your son into it. Best of luck hey were only in Missouri if you need some buttkickin done

Detox Diets

i started a detox diet a couple of days ago.

i'm having headaches, (that i believe pass over a short period of time).. anybody else detoxing at the moment?.

anybody got any experience of detoxing?

Bay,

If you take a lot of tylenol or advil etc. you could be having rebound headaches, anytime your body is use to something say caffeine etc. So if you drink coffee and aren't I assume to detoxify that is pretty normal. I haven't done this yet but I really have been thinking about it. Let me know how it goes

Probing Questions

there have been a whole bunch of probing questions in new threads lately.

people are encouraged to spill their guts out on the most sensitive of topics including jeopardizing their identities with questions about what they like on their pizzas.

just call me old fashioned, but some of these polls look like information-gathering the wts would love to mine.

So the best course of action is to skew the polls we feel are to dub likeLOL Just kidding, I to lived much too long with caring about what the dub's thought. I am here to help and be helped, if I inadvertently help a dub oh well. I disclose because to me it is a catharsis but not for all. My hubby thunderrider is much more closed due to the dub influence in that we are all different, but I can't be spend my time worrying if I say this will this get back to them life is way too short

Wow! Wonderful "witness" HUH the love, the concern comes seeping throughLOL I was moved to errr tears by the emotions...ok really I thought what an ass he can't spell and the e-mail is almost threatning.
