Who needed Psychological help?

did you ever need psychological help when you were in the "truth", or maybe after you left?

would you say that people who come here on this site are in need of psychological help, since they can't seem to get over their bad experience as a jehovah witness?

I don't feel as if a person out of the organization can understand what we all went through

I have found it frustrating to go to someone that has no clue about the mentality of the dub's but then again it is so refreshing to have an outsider say what a bun of A@@ H@@@@@ they are LOL You just have to find someone with an open mind.

Also Scully I was never even DF and was treated horrible I can't imagine what everyone that is DF goes through.

i would really like to hear your opinion on this topic:.

you know how the jws look down their nose on a person who falls into depression?

i am curious how many people here think that if you have been in therapy that you are emotionally weak.

Not having love and support is what is weak<dub's> The ones that are the weak one's are the one's that hide it or deny it. They shove little wifey in the corner and ignore her signs of distress or there children crying out for help.Funny, when my Brother in law first was diagnosed as bi-polar his parents <monsters> told him it was bull and he was weal well when his Mother<monster> needed to have a paper about depression GUESS what she went to ask him about it The worst was a relative I know that tried suicide and her father walked in the hospital and told her to "QUIT IT" "GET UP AND COME HOME" OHMYGD

So yes it takes a strong strong person to admit they are fallible and to seek help but also not to be to trusting Doctors can be good or bad. Just as with the dub's research etc. To make sure your treatment is the right one FOR YOU.

I always tried to be honest, it was always Pioneers and Elders telling me to cheat! LOL One elder we knew stopped for more donut breaks than the local police did lOL

Keep or dump

i need some advice.

i have been dating this guy for 3 years.

of those 3 years, he has cheated on me many many times, but i can only prove some.

Abusers go through a cyclical period you are now in what they call the honeymoon period, they are sweet and sorry and changed IT WON'T LAST. If he'll give you black eyes he will kill you bottom line, maybe on accident or maybe he will just destroy who you are slowly until you a walking shell.

My sister went through this even divorced the bastard he lured her back he was changed <urp gag> he went to church<vomit hurl> he kept cheating and beating and she was a walking disatster so bad I hated to even be around her, she was like a empty hollowed out shell where my sister had once been. She finally had enought divorced him again. He lured her to a bar to "talk" about child custody well (she just told me the whole ugly story and it's been years, she lied about most of it first)he followed her out to the parking lot (now my older sis is 5'5 about 130 at the most and he is about 6'3 200 or more pounds) He hit her in the face breaking her jaw when she hit the ground he kicked her and stomped her and left her for dead. Her beautiful face has NEVER looked the same<bastard> Well, your sitting thinking oh, he loves me he would never do that THAT IS WHAT SHE THOUGHT and you know she is one of THE LUCKY ONES.

You deserve more, your worth more than that, there are men that don't hit and tear you down emotionally find help then find one

just wanted you all to know i have finally got my hubby to visit the forum.

he will be posting also (he is a man of few words so he may be a newbie forever lol) .

we of course have the same ip address in case you noticed that, just didn't want you to think i had a personality disorder lol you will find we differ on everything but that is what makes for good conversation after almost 19 years lol.
