  Mulan, that is not always the case my grandbaby is mixed my son in law is black (very dark) and my daughter is white(very white with a smattering of freckles) my grandbaby LOOKS exactly like a tan version of my daughter and myself I showed my daughter her pic of when she was a year it is bizarre. Makayla has one toe that looks like her daddy's and her ears fold inside her ear look like his too LOL So I guess our genetics rule!!!

  As far as myself I was attracted to them and fell in love yes I would. Just like I don't like blonde blue eyed white men, I was not attracted to black men, or red haired men.

  I guess Chris is technically a different race he is Italian

  there i was sitting down thinking about nothing then a lump appeared in my trousers,ow no i mouthed no,.

  just then i heard in the distance a brother say and now the song number will be ???????

  i was in agony, no no i pleaded with myself nice thoughts nice thoughts,i squeezed him but he wouldnot go down, i pinched my hands and still no luck,everyone else was watching me ,as i was the only one sitting with my hands claspedacross my lap,.

  did being a jw stifle your ambition?

  did not needing to plan for the future affect your career choices and your consequent wealth?.

  i'm not simply talking about following the advice to not take up an education which has been discused many times, but i'm going further to say that those brought up in "the truth" had their whole philosophy moulded and shaped in a way which never searched for more or wanted more; a non-materialistic outlook.. now some may still say materialism is evil, or that being brought up this way leads to a more content life.. the cynics, like myself, will say that keeping people 'happy but poor' is the genius of the rich.. i've had some success after leaving the org, after taking up education and so on, but it has taken time.

  I drew and wrote and did a plethora of things before I became a witness then I was so told the end was coming and thinking I will have forever to do this and that. Now I am trying to cram all the things I want to do in less than 40 years and I regret listening to those that told me no to pursue anything.

  i have enjoyed it immensely for the past year or so and found it both thought provoking, and humerous.. the problem i have, is trying to get my wife of 18 years to visit here.

  My Daughter's Letter to Elders!

  well, my daughter decided to write they letter.

  the foundation for this letter can be found in my previous thread a couple of days ago which can be found at http://www.jehovahs-witness.com/forum/thread.aspx?id=44457&site=3.. she wrote her heart and gave them some good counsel.
