I don't think you have to worry to much. If God would save the Gov. Body after all the lies they've told, I think you will be safe.

When I was using the Netscape browser I couldn't post either. I then tried MS Internet Explorer and then I could post. Hope this helps. Robotnomore
this morning i had an itch to do something different than work, so i looked outside and saw the hills of malibu, palos verdes, santa monica and the strong pulse of the ocean currents.
thought i'd majke this up for those of you who need a little break for a 3.5 minute video (high bandwidth only) with a little country background.

Randy,
Enjoyed the scenery. Wish we were there. Thanks, Robotnomore
since i've faded i've felt at rather a loss for filling the vacuum of personal study.
i've been working on my own bible reading and study schedule.
at the moment i'm reading a chapter a day (not much i know) from romans right thru to revelation, and a story a day from the greatest man book (i really like this publication as i feel it is helping me just focus more on jesus and helps to de-emphasis the closeness to a man-made organisation).
We have been reading the bible by itself since we left. It is amazing how much we missed by using the literature to explain it. Since we started reading it without their help, it has made real sense to us. Good luck in your research.
Newlight2,
Thanks for the study outline. It really looks like a good one. I am going to use it myself. Thanks for posting it.

the active jw's watching tv tonight will be surprised when they see themselves in the spotlight.
how do you think the average jw will react when watching the program?
will they think that it's all lies, or do you think they will believe a good part of it?
Like all good brainwashed ones, most will say it was all the work of apostates. But if even one person sees the truth, its worth it.
hey guys,.
i am a witness that is no longer going to meetings.. but i tell you what, i'm scared to death.. i'm really "limping on two decisions.".
what would you guys say is the one "scriptural" reason why you left the truth.. thanks.. gene.
Dear Confuzious, When I read your story it reminded me so much of our own feelings as we were finding out all the different things that were just plain wrong in the organization, and it was absolutely devastating. We kept trying to find something to hang on to because we didnt want to leave, because our whole life was spent as JW's. It is true when you look at the Bibles explantion and definitions of false prophets you know thats what is going on with this religion. They have been false witnesses of our dear Heavenly Father and his Wonderful Son Jesus, And they have misrepresented Gods Word the Bible in so many ways it is just inconceivable that we could have been a part of such false teachings, so we tried to think of things that were right so we can cover over or excuse all the wrongs that were done. But our conscience kept bringing it up and I truly feel that Jesus was calling us to him because so many times we would almost reconcile our thoughts and heart back to the organization when we would stumble across some other crazy off the wall teaching, and all the turmoil would start again. The elder is right when you look at what the Bible says and then look at what the society has done in the past, there is no way possible to defend what they have done. They were and are false prophets, and they know it.So with us it came down to since they have been wrong about so many dates, explanations of the Bible and since they have come right out and said that they are not inspired of God are we going to overlook all of their wrong teachings and hope this new set of explanations will finally be right or are we going to believe what GOD'S True Word THE BIBLE says? So we prayed for God's guidance and he showed us what to do. So we wrote our letter of disassociation but it still took us almost a year to send it in. WE were still hoping something would come up to where we could regain some faith back in the society but to no avail. So we prayed to God,and told him that our total faith was in Him, his Son,his Word the Bible, and the Kingdom. When I think about losing almost 50yrs. to this organization it makes me feel horribly sad,but what gets me through is for once I have a true hope and assurance that by accepting the true Lord and Savior Jesus that I will have everlasting life in his wonderful Kingdom. So Confuzious I hope this helps ,my heart goes out to you and I will pray for you. Agape' Love Mrs. Robot No More
i'm 17. i was disfellowshipped almost two years ago.
i am the youngest of four kids and am the only left at home.
i live with my dad who has sort of faded from the jw scene.
Welcome Meth,
Sorry for the situation you are in. Many here including myself know what you are going thru. One thing to be grateful for though is that your not 40 and just figuring out what you already know about the WTS. Alot of people including myself raised our children in it and not only do our parents shun us but our kids too.
So take advantage of being young and go forward with your life and raise a wonderful normal family away from the WTS. Also keep the faith, you never know when Jesus will change the hearts of your loved ones.
Good Luck on your journey!

my friend was counseled for having a bad attitude because he wore white socks w/ his suit.
Elvis style sideburns and hair to long.
do the scriptures say that jehovah god is ( immutable.
therfore any man or organization whom claims to speak for jehovah/god or whom claims to represent him will not make any mistakes within any prophecys issued ( ,as god cannot lie.).
what is the meaning of the word ( .
Excellent point on immutable. Never thought it out that way. I'll probably get a chance to use that soon. Thanks for the post.
i am new here and this is my very first post.
i've been following the message threads over the past few months and decided it was time to register.
(i couldn't decide on a unique username or else i would have done it sooner!).
Welcome Yellowlab,
It's great to see that you have been thinking for yourself and researching the WT for yourself. We are new here too. We had our first post a week or two ago. Like you, we just celebrated our first Christmas. We enjoyed it immensely. To freely be able to celebrate Christ birth was a wonderful experience. To be free of the borg is a wonderful experience. To have true Christian Freedom is a wonderful experience. To raise your kids without the WT indoctrination is truly a blessing. Hang in there. It will be worth it.
