  hello, i am nomoreguilt's non-jw wife.

  nomoreguilt was a witness for many years when i met him.

  we have been married for over 4 years and still honeymooning.

  Mom Died -- and I found out from an old friend!

  ok, i'm writing this thru tears as i just found out in the last 5 minutes.

  my dad died in august, and they had been together just 1 or 2 weeks over 70 years married!

  i didn't expect her to last without him, and visa versa.. i just tried to call my sister, and no answer there.

  Did you get the new tract?

  just wanted to run an informal poll to see how "effective" or hopelessly "ineffective" the borg tract assimilation drive has been.. i for one, have not received the tract, and i live in densely populated development.

  did anybody get it left in their doors/mailboxes?.

  if you are ever feeling sentimental and missing your jw days, this book is a must read.

  it truly reinforces why i'm out.

  Yes, I'm sorry I meant Joy. I went to school with a girl named Toni Castro so I keep confusing the name. Strangely when I try to edit it the system won't let me.

  Yes Jeff, you have to get through the first few chapters to get to the meat of the story. She's a talented writer and I think in the beginning she was excercising her craft and I just wanted to get into the dirt of what the JW's did to her. For me it was worth reading through the hard to understand part.

  Latest JW tract

  i came home to find the latest jw tract on my door.

  it was titled "the end of false religion is near" what a catchy title, never heard that one before.

  i started breezing through it and came across a subtitle called "false religion... tolerates immoral sex" they actually have the nerve to say, and this is an exact quote " even churches that condemn immoralality have tolerated religious leaders who have sexually abused children"

  Very good illustration Longhairgal, I can't see how they wrote it with a straight face. I wonder how many Witnesses that received theri 50 to distribute cringed when they read it or are they actually that blinded by living the lie for so long..

  Rebel, that is so true. To even put molestation in the same catagory as two hormoned filled teenagers that let things go too far tells so much about them. It shows what little value they put on the defenseless victims of child molestations.
