ALthough they didn't increase in remarkable numbers,there is good news for them. They have been able to retain more members than in the past years. Australia, U.S., Germany, Netherlands, New Zealand, France, Italy, Spain and other develop countries had more growth than in the past. In the U.S. right now they are approaching a new peak of bible studies, and even hours, as well as the number of publishers. I see more growth than this years 2.2%.

Thinking of becoming a JW - Need urgent honest advice!!!

i have never been interested or really ever been around any religion in my life so all of this right now is very fascinating to me.
i have been thinking of studying to become one but am also having a hard time finding anything on the net that is positive about it.

You can't just join the JW religion. Why don't you attend a meeting and see for yourself what its all about? Also keep in mind that some people who are not in anymore don't have the same opinion as some posters here.

on the serious side....joker is probably stirring up a hornest for fun...hey dont we all once in a while (i am still waiting for my thread hijacker tshirt) but i cannot tell you how many people every day i talk to that were making good money not too long ago that are on the skids looking for a decent job.
you dont have to be a slacker to be unemployed joker...yes, maybe some of us have too much time on our hands...but i have a feeling the majority of people that post a lot on this board are just really good multi-taskers.

by NaruNaruChan inyes, the headlines are true.. last night, after getting my hair cut wayyy off (i have a faux hawk guys, it's cool to be butch) i went to borders for my usual perusal of porn (kidding, i bought a cookie from mrs. fields and it was the only other warm place open in fresno).
upon entering the back doors of borders, my girlfriend and i felt an immediate presence of pure evil!

International Convention In Sydney - What To Expect?

thursday is the first session and happens to end at a time that is convenient for me to go to my normal evening activity elsewhere in sydney.
time is from 2:00pm to 5:00pm.. so, what will happen on day one, and is there anything in particular i should be looking/listening for?
