  I go every once in a while because of family pressure...Haven't been out in service in a few years. I like to think of myself as an "apostate spy". We all have our own unique coping mechanisms.

  last night i had a dream that a former (stupid) elder called me at 6 a.m. to tell me that he wanted to let me know that he was calling for the body of elders, that they asked him to call me to get together and answer some questions.

  i said, "and you're calling me at 6 in the morning?

  Why isn't the WTS more direct in regards to "apostate" web sites?????????

  i wonder why the wts does not specifically tell its hapless adherents to not go to apostate websites?

  references as to what to beware of on the internet seem to be painted with broad strokes.

  always first is pornography, then chat rooms.

  I wonder why the WTS does not specifically tell its hapless adherents to NOT go to apostate websites? References as to what to beware of on the internet seem to be painted with broad strokes. Always first is pornography, then chat rooms. Chat rooms because "you never know who you are really talking to". They have also cautioned against people starting their own JW sites, and that one would do well to avoid any JW site outside of the WTS main one, but I wonder why they just don't come out and say "DO NOT GET ON APOSTATE WEBSITES". It would seem to be in their best interests to more fervently warn the flock about probably the single most potentially destructive vehicle to their religion. We know that "TRUTH" is their real enemy, but I'm a little surprised they don't push the "STAY OFF APOSTATE WEB SITES" thing, more. It was web sites such as this..specifically....that precipitated my eyes being opened. Just curious.....Any thoughts???

  is your bullsh*t meter always cranked up to overdrive these days?

  i'm a happy enough guy but i find i get somewhat irritated reading of the faith people have in their belief systems, even outside of the dubs.

  i'm not trying to be condecending with this post at all.

  As JWs, ever met any annointed ?

  in your time as jws did you ever meet any of the annointed?

  did they have good christian personalities and what did they think of the wts and its governing body ?

  i met one and he was very unhappy with the way the gb treated him and generally the way they run this society, he told me he wrote them two letters containing a long list of complaints with full scriptural support but he was ignored, first letter got a reply amounting to "no need to write to us" the second one no reply at all.

  By the way....One of the annointed persons I mentioned previously, has a wife who was DF'd for lesbianism. True. Now they're divorced.
