  tonight is the night , i have direc tv and going to watch to fifth estate.my hubby will be here also.

  i am realy realy nervous how he is going to react.

  he could blow up and say it's all lie's, they are apostates and god warned he's people they would constantly be persecuted and lied about.or he won't even look at it saying they are apostates and i won't look at them they are the devil's voice.he always say's , you can't believe every thing you see on tv or reading the new's paper.i need you'r advice on how i should react with these situations.

  It wasn't on last night on direc tv, someone on the thread said tonight it will be on . Last night was so scarry , i kept putting channel 366 on looking for something but nothing, If the thread is right it will be on this evening .but see no mention of it on dirctv menu.Either way a big thank you and hug to all who talked to me on how to act especially ( bikerchick& onacourse). If it does air here i can handle it. KLS WILL LET YOU KNOW

  i just received a letter in the mail from my jw brother.

  inside was a note written on a scrap piece of paper with a check for $210.00.

  he says " this is your share of whats left of uncle charlies money".

  pretty much same here. except my mother died sister was executive of will, took every thing and left the rest of us kids with nothing. even though she had nothing to do with her. seems to be pretty common in familys, greed is so ugly.i am sure wt would agree.

  i thought it would be interesting to get a cross-sectional view of your opinions on whether all drugs (lsd, heroin, cocaine, etc.

  be legalized so that they then became freely available to the general population, in the same way that alcohol and tobacco are .

  There is a rat on this forum

  i think someone on this forum is a rat....or troll as i think they are called.. i am sitting at home last night watching fear factor, and there was a knock at the door.. i opened it to find two elders from my old hall.

  they did not seem very sincere when they apologized for disturbing me without notice.. they said the purpose of there visit was to just to check up on me, find out if my circumstances or opinions had changed.

  we ended up in a huge conversation about my "inactivity", they wanted to know if there was anything keeping or holding me back from the truth, and wanted to know if there was anything i needed to get of my chest, cause guilt has away of keeping people back.

  there has been many questions on the thread, asking for any advice or thought's on how to talk to a friend or loved one in the org.it would be great if everyone could think of ways to reach them and help us bible dummies talk to them.

  there's alot of you out there ,a hole world with idea's ,even one idea could help someone.what made you see ?, did someone say just the right thing to make you think?

  was it some thing you read?

  Some have asked why after all this time, i want to be offically not a jw ? yes i've lived with it a long time and want to be unassociated in every way . i am tired of my husband telling me ' i was baptized a jw' i should be attending meetings' and still considered a witness. Imyself had no idea how bad the org. was until i started looking through google about 3months ago . the websites are astonishing and enlightning.i'ts having something hang over you'r head you want to get rid of.According to my husband i'm still a member till i do something to change it , he alway's talk's to elder's about me to this day. How do i know , after meetings his answers to me are totally different then the day before .If i'm disfellowshipped they can't talk about ,me and if i'm a dirty word he won't tell me i am still a jw.i'm not going to do this for sure or with out thought i need to know my options. ps. type any thing jw.on google and see what comes up.

  HOW TO DISFELLOW ONE SELF?

  i've disfellowshiped myself from the org.

  27yrs ago .as some of you know my husband is a practicing jw, my question is i would like to be offically disfellowshiped from this sick crap, how do i go about doing this?

  and does this mean my husband has to ignore me in some manner ?

  I NEED SOME HELP!

  i know it seems different to see me asking for help finding a watchtower quote, but i really need some help finding a couple of quotes that are very important for something i (and others) are working on.. i have heard that either the february 1st watchtower or the february 15th watchtower has comments about the media reporting child abuse in which the watchtower basically says it is the devil and.

  false stories.

  please let me know if you can find a quote like that.

  yes my husband is a jw and holidays i make turkeys, christmas i make ham , b-days i cook and bake for my kids or grand kids. my jw husband eats the turkey, ham, b-day cake but says he,s not celebrating it's just food.most jws are hypocrites they never do what they preach then make excuses why it;s ok. i looked up pagon rituals and found so many ,that every day life is full of pagonism.the days of the week,months ,years are all pagon, baptism is pagon annivsarys are pagan, wedding rings are pagan ritual, weddings ceremonies are pagon. i could go on and on , so why is christmas wrong, b- days wrong,thanksgiving wrong, oh ya their pagon. ps. also the phrase go luck is pagon.

  i know that most newbies do post their "story", and even tho i'm not technically a newbie here anymore, i would like you all that i meet in chat & on the board to know a bit more about me and my jw background.

  Dottie,right now you are the bravest person i know ,ive only known you for a short time but feel like were best friends.Yes this is the place to be for comfort,advice and having a ahole world to help with your problems.Ifound this sight by accident ( or did i) while crying by myself ,some day i would like to open up also and tell things i keep hidden because its to hard to talk about.Thankyou dottie for feeling that you can open up to everyone and tell us about your life.
