  Palin is an embarrassment to the people of Alaska.

  I was there last year and made a point of driving by her home in Wasilla (suburb of Anchorage). Her driveway has hundreds of KEEP OFF and NO TRESPASSING signs. I found it interesting.

  I even had my wife take pictures of me in her driveway holding my binoculars trying to see Russia or get international experience watching Russian planes flying overhead. I saw nothing. I do have some funny pictures my wife took of me in her driveway. But my wife was getting pissed and told me to get back into the car.

  We dropped off the car the night before our flight from Anchorage. On the way to the airport, I told the shuttle driver that we had "visited" Sarah Palin's house. The guy (I think he likes her) just put his head down and said (I'm paraphrasing) "We don't see her anymore up here. I think everyone in her house has been arrested two or three times. She has a real mess." Then he went on about her daughter, in-laws, etc.

  I could tell the guy felt really bad for her.

  I'm not the media. Just stating facts.

  Covid-19 (Coronavirus) - Status Update Thread

  this topic is to focus on status updates & advice (no opinion or politics please).. status.

  latest status is that it's serious, probably isn't going to be contained and most large companies are making contingency plans, cancelling large events etc... which i don't think would happen if it was just people being alarmist.

  the incubation period means it may have already spread further and infected many more people than are currently known, so expect jumps in the numbers over the coming days and weeks.. tracking.

  Just to say The World Health Organization site states that the virus does not last long enough on outside surfaces etc for receiving parcels/buying goods etc sent from China to be any kind of a risk.

  I bet if you ask the "experts" at the WHO to open a shipping container from Wuhan, My han, Your han or Someone elses han to physically unload the contents, they would have a much different attitude.

  I think I'm getting the picture.

  Just in the event I get gay impulses in the future, I don't want to be, as you put it, the "wrong" type of gay. I will use protection and not put any sand in the Vaseline.

  What Makes. Person A Pedophile?

  it seems the news always has another report of a pedo stalking children or hurting them.

  i know this has gone on forever but i read another report of an illegal alien with a history of abuse taking advantage of another poor child.. i just don’t understand why some people do this.

  is there an actual brain abnormality?

  When you mention prevention, I don't think there will be many people who voluntarily hold up their hands and say, "I'm planning on being a pedophile" or "I'm planning on being a murderer."

  My "prevention" comment dealt with people who have already committed an act.

  I think it is very difficult to try to read minds regarding what a person might do in the future, thinks about doing or fantasizes about some act.

  I agree that prevention is the best method.

  You could simply take the pedophiles out in the woods, tie the hands and feet behind a tree and rub a thick layer of honey all over the genitals.

  Come back a couple of days later after the ants and other animals have had a feast. Bring a plastic bag to place anything leftover to give him as a souvenir.

  That would reduce the amount of therapy. The only therapy needed would be teaching him how to sit when he pees.
