  What do JW's believe about the Anti Christ? Been out for 20 years, don't remember lol...

  i was watching a video saying with tongue in cheek saying that trump was the antichrist listing all the scriptures and prophecies... was kind of funny but it made me wonder what the heck do jw's believe?

  was it that it's other religions or some such garbage?

  i don't seem to recall it being a specific person but honestly i don't recall at all.

  What Is Your Favorite Decade or Time Period to Live In?

  Some Inside Stuff RE: Imports from China - WOW

  as some of you know, i still remain, for the time being, a bit under the radar for family reasons so i'm being a bit general in nature.. ms. rub a dub is intimately involved with purchases, sales and compliance issues and when dealing with commercial and at times government contracts under homeland security.

  as such, she is "in the loop" so to speak and receives communications daily on what is changing where.. about 30 minutes ago, she came out of her little office and said, wow, i just got my daily report and noticed that china has just raised the price on exports of medical items by 25%, even on contracts that are under production.

  she said immediately, the us then eliminated all tariffs on medical-related items to at least lower the prices somewhat.. i didn't get the details since she got another call and is still on it but i have to say, the chinese play hardball.

  I didn't get the details since she got another call and is still on it but I have to say, the Chinese play hardball. When they smell blood in the water, they are real bastards.

  I will supply more details later.

  I say bring the production of pharmaceutical items back to Puerto Rico where it thrived for many years. I'll pay an extra quarter for a box of aspirin.

  i was watching the local news in the background and i heard a guy talking about 3m and how florida was getting screwed.

  i didn't hear the whole report.. later, i was switching through the channels and i saw the same guy talking to tucker carlson (fox news).

  come to find out he is the federal cdc equivalent at the state level.

  For what it's worth, Trump says he is pissed and said 3M will pay the price. He signed some war powers act or something and said he can force them to manufacture the masks.

  I guess we will see.

  How much will Life Change after its all over?

  this period of crisis seems endless and absolutely weird but end it will.. in the mean-time people are working successfully from home, the skies have cleared, international meetings are held on line.

  lots of frustrating commuter journeys are just not necessary.

  the world is cleaning itself almost visibly in days, the skies are clearing.

  So if I place an order for what most would consider life-saving equipment, you accept the order and then in the middle of production, someone from another country comes. They hold up cash and you sell it them instead.

  What you should be mad at and this is .....the political system that does not regulate them.

  I disagree. I think there are many corporations that have a social conscious. Many that "could" steal but don't. Many that "could" do illegal things but don't have to have someone looking over their back to "do the right thing".

  Do you need regulation? Absolutely. But I am not that cynical that all corporations are as evil as you present it.

  Only the person knows if he/she is of the anointed.

  You can't read another person's heart. So don't try to judge.

  I'm not a particular fan of the plain triscuits either (I prefer the balsamic vinegar and basil flavor). But for purposes of the Memorial, it is more proper to stick with the plain, original ones.

  It's becoming clearer now, at least to me.

  On the news this morning, they explained that 3M has a very high investment in China. They make hundreds of products including stuff we use in offices every day; Scotch Brand products. Then a huge number of industrial products. Many (or most) of these are made in China.

  Although they produce most of their masks in China, they are not allowed to export them, even though it is a US company and they want to export some to the US. But China wants more and gladly imports as many as they can get. And they will pay top dollar.

  So there it is. China won't allow exports but will buy and import. Don't expect to get a respirator out of China, nor gowns, gloves or anything else. But they will buy.

  Based on what I see this morning, the shit is hitting the fan and 3M is right in the middle. They are selling some of the US made stuff that we need back to China or other countries who are waving cash in their face.
