i've read a lot of threads of late, where people stated when they did something wrong they would go the elders the next day and confess.. i find this truly bizzare !!!.

okay, maybe i didn't have a conscience as a jw, i did alot of things wrong, but, that would be the f--kin' day i would go to the elders and confess anything.

i would never tell those old goots anything, because then they would have something to hang over you for a long time.

i just had a jw come to my door and i had to threaten her to get her to leave!

i told the woman right off i was 'apostate' and had no intention of changing it.

she kept asking me personal questions which i told her were none of her business and she said she would have the elders come by and i told her that if they came by the better be wearing bullet proof vests!

I don't know why you would torment a loving sservant of Jehovah that way. You certainly have proven that you merit complete and total destruction at Armegeddon. I hope Jehovah has a mile long hail stone with your name on it.

I know of MANY Witnesses who literally think that way. So, Bradley, you tell ME who is "over the top".

I am sickened, but not surprised.

Oh, some pioneers told me they love to use that "writing" bit on the sidewalk or in the car after a bad call in an effort to make the householder nervous, wondering what they were writing. In other words, to get even because someone didn't want to speak with them.

Actually I'm disappearing because I want to work on myself (that comment is a big set-up, I know ), and just now I read Simon's advice not to start a thread about such persons, which I knew instinctively but my anger got the best of me. I'm sorry, everyone.

NG has not chased me from here...my need to think deeply about everything that's gone on in my life for the past few years (indeed, the past 47 years) is why I'm disappearing.

So I'll disappear already, okay? (in answer to the obvious retort of some who will read this).

I wish we didn't have to spend time spinning our mental wheels trying to fend off people like him/her

So do I; you all know I come here for friendship and support and it's difficult, in my present state of mind, not to over react to NG's ludicrously unprovoked attacks on persons who have been so loving and caring to me.

I will go back into hiding (with the hopeful purpose of emerging a stronger person) and let this thread die. I shouldn't have written it in the first place. I like onacruse a lot, and it was upsetting to see him, as well as others for whom I have a lot of affection, attacked for no particular reason other than the petty amusement of the poster.

when i was sent to speak to ones and they came back asking me why it is that we hear and they do not, i had taken it before my lord to ask him.
