It would be a sin. Ray Franz was kicked out for this. You will subject your family to living with an unclean conscience, hindering of their prayers, lack of success in field service, and finally, a sharing of sins to others who may know of this insidious action resulting in the removal of Jehovah's Spirit from the congregation. You are to be considered as worse than a person of the nations or as Muslims say, an infidel. It is proper for you to be cursed and requested to be destroyed at the Great Tribulation. After all, "it is impossible as regards those who have been once and for all enlightened to the truth and having fallen back to revive them to repentance again. For they [you] revile the Son of Man afresh and there is no longer any sacrifice for sins left [for you] but a certain fearful expectation coming upon you;" You should prevent their anhialation be removing any temptation for them to save money. I would simply pay for their lodging someplace near their resort. That way at least some in your family may live on and not have their eyes picked out by birds as righteous people (witnesses, baptized or going to be and current in field service and having no secrets before the elders) look on. You are in held in derision by God and as such unworthy of your next breath according to the WTBS.

Were you still a "believer" when you left?
by pennycandy ini know many of you here left for reasons other than doctrinal.
lack of love, treated badly, the burden of life as a jw, etc.
at the time you left (or were kicked out), did you still think it was god's organization, or were you already convinced it wasn't?.

I stopped attendance but still believed it was my fault- I was weak, etc. Waiting for the bomb to drop. Got new wife and started thinking differently even though still badgered her with truth rhetoric. Saw a tv late nite thing on JWs over at her place one night. Started thinking about what was related concerning failure of prophecy. Finally got here and that was all she wrote. Read all the stuff, CoC, Gentile Times, etc. When you take the info on this site and research the history of the org. one sees how ridiculous their claims were. Once it is determined they are not the faithful and discreet slave their whole house of cards collapses. Just sorry about the twenty years I gave 'em.

WT WARNING EXAMPLES: Anybody see this video?
by cyber-sista inwarning examples for our times was a wt release video that came out a couple of years ago.
at the times i was given it to watch so i could know the seriousness of my daughter marrying an unbeliever (any of you who have heard my story know she had never become a believer herself, so technically was an unbeliever too, thus not qualified to marry a believer either, but made guilty by association with the jws--catch 22 situation).
anyway, the video horrified me at the time.

When Jesus' life was transferred to Mary, was his total self at that moment in a single cell or group of cells within her womb? When an infant, did he remember his previous life. If not, why? If one is composed of memeories and the continuous feeling of selfness, where was Jesus before he remembered? If the soul is just the person or their life-title, what was it that was transferred to Mary? While still at the cellular level, for Jesus to be Jesus, if it is correct about the soul being only your person, meaning the sum of your thoughts and memories, etc., how could it be Jesus in the womb? Please tell your thoughts. Or do you just have to have faith?

New Brochure released at District Convention
by anew ini just got off the telephone with my mom.
she wants me to take this brochure and i don't want it.
she tells me that they were instructed at the covention to only give it to those who showed an interest, and in other words not to waste these on those who don't seem like they deserve it!

I remember how exciting it was in '73 or so when the first of these tracts started coming at the assemblies/con-ventions. We all thought how powerful these tracts will be and the speaker actually said it wasn't known if there would be more or not, depending on the end, right around the corner. I mean, this was like a final witness. I'm still trying to get my foot out of my ass from kicking myself for falling for this crap.

A few wears back it was popular to compare quantum physics to Zen as in "The Tao of Physics" and "The Dancing Wu Li Masters". I found it hard to swallow.

I wish my wife would can the bushels of tomatos. At work I'm called the tomato man. I always plant too much. They make nice targets, though.

I work four straight ten hour days, 7AM to 5PM. Usually 10 hours O.T. (time and one half) on the fifth day.
