  i am neutral on the bible students as i liked russell?s stuff; i even scoffed at the anti-russell books when i was becoming borg in 1981. so this isn?t at all criticism.

  it was a bit refreshing.

  but this is just one study period, lunch, two discourses and a few breaks, so i just saw and felt what half-a-day in rural

  why is it our lot as former members of the watchtower organization to suffer so much emotional pain?

  just when we think we have reached some level of putting it all behind us, something new pops up to bite us hard.

  a couple that i have been very close to just sent me a very sad e-mail.

  Jim,

  I am sorry about the pain that you are feeling in your friend's decision to return to the org. The wealth of information found on this and many other sites make it difficult to understand their decision. I cannot imagine any experiences with ex-jws that would convince me that leaving the org had been a mistake.

  Over the past 2 years I have found your posts to be among the most interesting and informative on this board and I was disappointed when the wealth of information on your removed posts was not restored. Many individuals struggling with their faith would benefit from your experiences.

  i had this big macho guy who used to work for me and when i would stop by his trailer, (not kidding) to pick him up for work, (dui and again, not kidding) on his way out the door he would give his redhead, stripper girl friend, (see above) a peck on the cheek and walk over to his pit-bull, ( ) and just lavish all manner of love and affection on that big, ugly, and very stupid dog!

  i am not making this up!

  i would think, "what a looser!".

  I do now. My lab has been sick this week and, after spending $300 at the vet, we still don't know what is wrong with her. It's disheartening to see such a normally happy, energetic dog moping around.

  I would stock some Romeo y Julietas, Partagas, Dunhills, and maybe some Royal Jamacans.The likelyhood of getting a counterfit or poorly stored Cuban would make them a poor choice IMHO.

  I used to sell errr.. place them for a nickleI each. I always assured the sympathetic householder ( I still shudder at that word) that this just covered the cost of printing.

  I'm not sure what is the expected donation these days but I'm sure that I's much cheaper that Charmin double roll.
