  as I said on another thread tonight...

  Crappy Hitler miniseries! It is a joke! It has the times wrong the names wrong. The actors are the worst I have seen in a long time. I sat thru one episode with my history books and ripped it to shreds. I am offended that this stupid country thinks it has to lie and misrepresent even the reality of how horrible it was just to make ratings. Talk about propoganda! and the American public lap it up like kittens!

  what is amazing is that out of 24 million votes there was a difference of 1305! I think the politicians should take a lesson! It came down to two men of different talents and abilities, and even different skin colors and the vote was THAT close and NO ONE DEMANDED A RECOUNT!

  what I can't imagine is why that greeting card site would have such a graphic on there....!? I mean what in the heck would that card be appropriate for? I sent them a request to find out the address/IP. But what whoever did was use my email to fill in the FROM box cause I got a notice that I had viewed it--like I had sent it. I have a number of weirdo friends who I know personally and offline who would send me a card such as this. I just thought it was a little odd to get it right after we had that thread about scary movies going yesterday. (Don't think I am going to rent any scary movies this week end now....)

  when they must face reality and survive - or wither away as another of humanity's dead ends.. the muslim world has entered such a time.

  they must progress or face a destruction of their own making.. i'm shocked at how few people actually appreciate the danger that 9-11 exposed.

  so where does the vendetta attitude stop? every group of humans who have isolated themsleves into a group has experienced injustice and merciless persection in some form or another. who is going to be the one who says 'ok lets just go on, make the world a better place and forget past hurts'? LIFE is unfair. And the real oppressors are the 'gods' who demand more than humans can give in our human context. When will we outgrow the need for religion? I can't see it happening anytime soon, and unfortunately, I think the crisis will come before the evolution.

  hey Robdar---the LAST Buffy is on Tuesday night! (tonight!)

  and the scariest movie I ever saw was called The Shuttered Room and I was about 8 years old. OMG the dollhouse scene gave me terrors--I had a couple of dollhouses and my mom had one of them backed up against the night light so it would shine thru the windows---I swore the curtains moved and I could see shadows walking thru the house at night! here is a link:

  Hush Hush Sweet Charlotte scared me too...OMG that head rolling down the stairs! And there was one other one that I just saw again recently--it was a third rate horror about a woman who got decapitated and her mad scientist husband kept her head alive in a jar and she talked telepathically to some other hideous monster in the closet and got it to break out and kill him.... And the original Fly movies! Help me Help meeeee.....

  There was also one that I swear was called 'Incubus' when I saw it---but I have since found it and it was called something totally different(and I don't know how I would have come up with the name if it was not the name...????) but anyway it was about an Amish guy who leaves and takes a 'worldly' wife and brings her back to the community. All kinds of demonic murders take place, including his own, and they end up blaming it on some retarded man. It all seems to work out in the end after some scary-ass scenes, and then the credits start and you see the woman walk into her house and into her living room and then all of a sudden the floor opens up to a gaping view of Hell and some demon jumps out of the fiery pit and snags her and takes her down with him! Scared me to friggin death! And if you got up to leave at the credits you would have never known the movie ended that way!

  My daughter wants to convert

  my 13 year old little princess wants to convert..........................to judaism.. .

  she asked me today on the way home from her therapist if she had to take the confirmation class next year in the catholic church.

  i told her that she didn't have to take it until she was ready to, that it was wholly her decision.

  I think maybe the holocaust stuff and the bat mitzpah might be influencing the attraction. 13 year old girls also want babies and boyfriends(on a non-sexual level I am talking about innocently) and the next day want horses and to become the next Britney spears. Kind of an impressionable, emotional age. Not saying it won't stick, but if she could just give it a little more time....
