Haunting music
by Simon ini watched donnie darko a few days ago (great film) and it had a fantastic song in it at the end that is incredibly haunting.
called "mad world" by gary jules, it's a remake of a tears for fears song.

What are some of the similarities between Mormonism and the J.W. cult?
by hubert ini am doing some research on mormons, along with the watchtower org., and i'm looking for similar beliefs between the two.. i found a few, (i think), like:.
both believe in shunning.. both use the term "apostate".. both have "end time " predictions.... mormons = generation of 1832.. does anyone know of any other similarities?

c. balance after payment of long form and short form claimants.

Yeah I got one last. I usually don't pay any attetion to these class action lawsuits. I could care less whether or not I get my share of 13 cents.

Did You Stay as a Witness Because You Needed a Social Life & "Friends"?
by minimus inrecently onacruse made a comment regarding why many jws remain jws.
a lot of people look at religion as a way to get together and be social with one another.
let's face it, people need "friends".

My entire life as a teenager was exactly that. I had absolutley no freinds or social life as a JW. Once I got out on my own at age 19, I had no communication skills, no social skills and no friends. I had to start my life over at age 19.
