  i've been reading the forum for a while and think it's great!

  has it ever occurred to any body out there why jehovah's witnesses are so disliked/picked on etc?

  do you ever wonder why we are the only religion that gets a bad rap?

  doesn't that tell you non jw's out there anything?

  Chicky, you are clueless. What about Muslims, Jews, Mormon's, Catholics and every other religion out there??? They all get a bad rap.

  that includes getting stung by bees, wasps, spiders, scorpions, medusas, poisonous fish etc .

  A horsre bit a chunk of flesh out of my arm, I was attacked by a doberman pinscher, I've been stung by wasps, bees, bitten by horsefly's, my bird at bitten my lip, nose and ears, been bitten by rabbits, and attacked by a lama.

  Satan

  after leaving the witness does anyone here believe satan exists?

  if yes do you think if we "gave" satan some kind of a challenge to prove he exists would it happen?

  if he is so hell-bent on proving jehovah/ witnesses wrong would he go to such great lengths to make sure ppl turn away?

  I've never seen any proof that God or Satan exists. So until that happens, I can't believe in either.

  Also, I think satan was made up so people have someone to blame for the sh*t they cause.

  just came home from grandmas house and found him next to the road.

  i guess he had made a jail break (he jumped my fence everyday) and got hit.

  of course, noone left even a note, what do they care, its only someones dog.

  Woodworking anyone?

  does anyone dabble in woodworking here?

  i was raised around it my whole life but never took to it as a trade.

  my grandfather was a carpenter and my dad is a master carpenter as well.

  I work in a huge wood shop. Well not "in" the shop but in the office. I design furniture & millwork for casinos, high end retail stores, resturants, hotels and condo's. I'm very knowledgable about woodworking, but I've never got my hands dirty and actually built anything I've designed. Thats what the shop guys are for. hehe.

  Cook at home or eat out?

  do you know how to cook, even just a few simple recipes, or do you hate the idea of home cooking and prefer to always rely on restaurants and take aways, or just prepare easy snacks like sandwiches and melted cheese on toast?

  I eat out only one or twice a year. It costs to much to eat out here. (good food that is). I enjoy cooking, so making dinner is no big deal. In fact, I'm getting pretty damn hungry,,, i'm off to go make some din din!

  Recently Disfellowshipped

  i having been "lurking" around here for about a month--right when i was disfellowshipped actually.

  in a year long relationship--broke up-five months later had a bout of conscience and told on myself.

  myself and my ex are disfellowshipped and now most of my former group of "friends" are getting in trouble.

  I had to meet with the elders after being raped at 17. They needed to hear all the graphics details so they could decide whether it was rape or fornication...
