  I just walked 4.6km and I feel great.

  i am extremely overweight (280lbs.

  several friends suggested walking.

  we have a 'rail trail' near the house here that goes all the way to two towns over, about 30km long.

  i'm not talking about internet friends, but friends close by in your town.. so, do you have as many friends as you would like to have?.

  when i was young and going to school, i had a few friends, but now i don't have any friends, but on the other hand, i'm a loner and i don't really care.

  i'm not really searching for friends.

  I'm with ya JH. My husband is my bestfriend. Other then that, I really don't have anyone else. I just like being alone. I've always been that way. Every once in a while, I'll make an effort to do things with other people, but eventually I get stressed out and find myself making excuses to just stay home, and chill out. I'm happier that way. Nothing wrong with that!

  i wrote this on another thread but it didn't take.. just heard "zero seven" in my son's truck and thought it was great!!!.

  I'm with bigdreaux on the whole 'mainstream' music thing but I have to say... I think 'Deftones' are freaking awesome. They've been around for quite awhile and are semi mainstream.... but every single one of thier albums are great.

  Sad News Orangefatcat's husband died this morning.

  this is one of the sadest days in my life, my beloved husband marco passed away this morning at 5:15 am.. it has been a dreadful day.

  but my dear friend was with most of the day while we went togerther to make funeral arrangements.. that was really hard on me.

  i have done nothing but cry and cry all day, i finally fell asleep a few hours ago while my friend diane was here and she let me sleep.

  ok we all have stories of "window-cleaners" but some of us had other kinds of work - that you got payed for (slave labor excepted).

  so what kinds of things have you done?

  Janitor - Hated it. But it paid my way through college.

  Video Store Clerk - That job was freaking awesome. I got paid to sit around, watch movies, and eat popcorn. It was a small town so I got maybe 10 customers a night.

  Landscaping - I had my own landscaping business for a year. It was the 'in' thing to do at the time among the JW's. It ended up costing me too much money.

  AutoCAD drafter - That was fun.

  Design Engineer- Even funner

  Now I'm the Engineering Manager. It's ok, but kinda stressful.
