i remember one time i went with a bunch of jw's out to a chinese restaurant and at the end of the meal; i opened up my fortune cookie and read it.
this one pioneer sister went all over me for doing that; saying i could stumble someone, blah, blah, blah.
No you won't make it into the new system, especially if you add the words "in bed" to the end of your fortune. Try it next time.

It took me over 7 years to leave. It was a long and emotional journey but I can honestly say that I am much happier now and a better person. Like you, I do not agree with some of the things that posters say or do, but there is also alot of support and good information on this site. I hope you stick around.

well the memorial is tmrw night and time is running out to give out invitations.

last night my mother asked me if i've heard from any of my old jw friends.
My mother called last night and left my official invite on my answering service. She'll probably show up at my work this morning. I hate this time of year!!! I am 30 years old and still get nervous and about what I'm going to say to my parents when they ask about the memorial. Pathetic.....
i just spent 1000 pounds on a new central heating boiler.
it's not installed yet so i have no heating.

i want like advice on how i should deal with this cause sometimes i feel this oppression(dont knw if i spelled that right) on being gay and also being a j.w theres this i'm not sure how to explain it....like you knw that when people in your congregation find out the ones you know all ur life are going to hate u cause ur gay............this i guess just makes me feel really sad........ kind of hoping that this made some sorta sence.................... i suck at spelling so if i miss spelled something sorry@_@
