I received word from granny (Mouthy) about Oompa.
There's no doubt in my own personal reflection of decades ago, despite our own degrees of coping mechanisms and mental strengths and weaknesses, that the WTBTS really has its claws deep within you. Once you are out of that, you feel isolated, rejected and scared. I know I was. I have no idea how I got through it, but fortunately for me I did.
It is your life while you are a follower: your so-called support network (which is like catching a bowling ball in a spider's web), when removed ... including your family, children and congregational friends; for some it's a near-death sentence. In this case, definitely a massively contributing factor.
Tragedy! Tragedy! Tragedy!
