  hope you're having a bonza weekend!

  mrs ozzie and i have really enjoyed a very pleasant time with friends and now are spending a bit of quiet time with a nice espresso.

  so time to take a "break" and let's share some time reminiscing together about "the old days".

  Your First "Sin"...

  hey guys,.

  i'm sure this one has been done before, but what was your first "sin" after leaving jw.. i'm not necessarily talking about sleeping with a transvestite - or maybe that was it, :-).

  the other day i was a movie theater and if i wanted to - i could have seen a rated r movie - (like the old george bush on saturday night live - scary!

  #5 Handed them out to travellers on the bus/train. I would give them away to anyone who wanted them. I would even leave them behind in restaurants.

  her ladyship has just presented me with a wonderful sunday lunch.

  half a lobster as a starter, with salad garnish and vinaigrette.

  the main course comprised a sirloin steak, bubble and squeak, topped off with a fried ducks egg.

  Englishman,

  This also is one of my favorite subject. F&DS/annointed class in my opinion is the core of jw doctrine. Once the layers are peeled away the rest of it becomes very weak.

  Growing up in my jw household an enormous amount of weight and value was placed upon this belief system.

  Ray Franz in CoC chapter 3 addressed this subject with such an enormous amount of insight and truth in my opinion. He accomplished an unveiling behind the myth. I believe he understood how important this conviction was and is for many jw's. I'm glad he tackled this subject first and didn't hold back any punches.

  Threat warning changing anyone's plans?

  living near major cities, including nyc, makes me a little jittery since the threat level going up to orange yesterday.

  i am trying not to watch the news, it is making me too anxious.

  i am trying to do all the normal things that people do on saturday morning.....my daughter is going to her first birthday party ever!.

  The potential of nuclear, bio, chemical,soft target attacks are very possible. Then again I won't be sitting around the house waiting for them to happen. I have a life and I have every intention of living it.

  And as for Bush, well I prefer to live in a society where I can add a caption to a picture of his face and say "I lost my binky or Jeb, broke my crayons" and not die or dissapear for it.

  As opposed to other societies.
