  the fewest?eric barkermarch 21, 2014. ceo is the profession with the most psychopaths.. but first off, psychopath doesnt just mean someone who cuts you up with a chainsaw though the majority of people who do things like that are psychopaths.

  i thought it was a genuinely old silent movie.

  it was prepared for the delegates of the international conventions.

  a young man in a sound car goes to different homes in the neighborhood, and comes upon a bereaved husband with two young daughters.

  Wait? This movie was played at the convention? Wow! They really have dialed up the notch on churning the emotions of j-dubs.

  Things like this often make me think of the young ones I said goodbye to at the congregation. I wonder if they'll be okay, if theyll ever make it out, and if ever I might need to b there for them if they turn away from 'the truth'.

  my wife, who now thinks i am not competent enough to discuss spiritual matters with the kids, thinks that i could really benefit from discussing matters of the bible with this nasa engineer who attends meetings at her kingdom hall.

  apparently, he is quite knowledgeable in the bible and has a good grasp of their doctrines.

  at least according to her as i never actually spoken with the man at length but i do know that he is an elder.

  If you're in the mood to meet other ppl, then go ahead and invite him over. If you're not in the mood for a jw, then don't deal with it. It's pretty simple .

  I know a NASA jw dude too-- he was once a MS.Anyways, he quit that position, they're rich and travel everywhere, do everything, and get drunk with other jw friends. It's WHATEVER. He and his family are social jws. I'd rather make friends with genuine ppl.

  at times i want to kick myself for mindlessly letting the "god of religion" teach me about the "god of abraham" for more than 40 years.

  what was i thinking?.

  then again i was a third generation born-in who simply and naively believed the "reality" i was presented with, whilst unknowingly being held captive by spiritually blind, confused, inebriated and insane watchtower religionists in a mental prison with invisible bars..

  Marked-- i appreciate zagor sharing his experience. I feel very much the same way. I'm hoping for that moment of peace to come soon. I love my girls, they provide me with great joy, but the loss I suffered feels like an intimate death. I'm still mourning all that I lost. I know I can piece together a brighter future bc I'm taking those steps. But it's hard. I don't want to let go.

  in doing some research, i recently ran across a september 1, 2000 wt article that contained a brother's testimony about his years of service in the organization.. he said, "as we arrived for the meeting one sunday in 1938, two elderly sisters greeted us, and one said: `young brother, have you taken your stand for jehovah yet?

  you know, armageddon is just around the corner!

  ' i knew that jehovah is the only true god, and i was convinced that this is his organization.
