Any thought behind your " Avatar"

i think that's the correct phrase?

anyway when i first came here, that little picture that "the rebel" hides behind, was a self portrait of a very sad man, who simply had too much knowledge.

now i feel after 7 months here, i should repaint that " avetor" give some happiness to the eyes, and a contented smile to the lips.. in short my " avetor" was a self portrait of a man with too much knowledge.

i haven't seen anyone stopped for speeding on our freeways in some time.. wth it's dangerous out there, i'm driving 69-72 mph and someone pass me at 80-85 mph.. here in southern ca it,s crazy.

the speed limits are 65-70 mph.

Most states restrict use of the left lane by slow-moving traffic that is not passing. Some states require drivers to move right if they are blocking traffic in the left lane. Most states follow the Uniform Vehicle Code and require drivers to keep right if they are going slower than the normal speed of traffic (regardless of the speed limit). A few states either do not require vehicles to keep right ("no"), or permit vehicles moving at the speed limit to drive in the left lane regardless of traffic conditions.

At least 38 states have laws in place to fine for lingering in the left lane. In five states, fines can reach $1000 and 22 states classify the violation as a misdemeanor. This number is increasing each year.

Several studies in the US and UK have shown that slow drivers are among the most dangerous on roads and are the second leading cause of road rage (since tailgating is no. 1 and is often directly tied to slow drivers who won't move over slow drivers may be the single most direct cause of road rage) and a leading contributor to traffic accidents and deaths.

Driving consistent with interstate speeds is not one of the top causes of traffic wrecks and deaths. Speeding and driving slower than the normal traffic flow are both contributing factors.

Slower traffic keep right. Or stay on the traffic controlled (red lights) roads and off the Interstates.

Then you are doing it right. I drove home today on the interstate for several hundred miles and time after time someone got in the fast lane and blocked the flow of traffic for several miles. They were too stupid or arrogant to get in the right lane or speed up, and the right lane was such that the faster traffic couldn't use it to pass.

THEY were the problem. Middle fingers don't suffice for people like that. There's a special place in hell for them.

Slower traffic keep right. Simple, really.

If you are in the far right lane it is very difficult for me to believe anyone is riding your ass. If you aren't in the far right lane and someone is riding your ass and you refuse to get over, you are breaking the law in many states and you are the problem in all of them. Not the people riding your ass.

And yes those are my middle fingers you saw in the SL500 or the BMW. Get used to seeing them.

In nearly every state the following signs or ones similar are posted on every interstate: Slower Traffic Keep Right.

If you see a BMW 328i on your bumper and you aren't in the far right lane, get the eff out of my way. That will solve 98% of your problems.

And if driving on the Interstate is more than you can manage, stay off of it.

i am so bad at being worldly, it's not like i gave it a good try, we are just not good at it my husband and i, i see him light up as he has started to read the bible again.

i'm good at being a witness, i am accepted, and hold the same beliefs, i have tried to find somewhere else, if there is a place, why hav'n't jehovah and the angels directed me to it?

So class, what do we call this? I will give you a hint. It’s a 4 letter word starting with “C”, ending with “E” and with an “LU” in the middle.

It’s also likely the reason Ms. SledRader can’t make friends amongst the Queers, Faggots, Wetbacks, Chinks, Pollocks and Negroes.

Worldly? WTF? You are still using this meaningless high control language descriptor ten years after exiting the cult? The Dark Lords may not have invented this type of linguistic control mechanism, but they damned sure have perfected it.

You never left it or them. Lose the cult language and stick around. Or go back and surround yourself with like minded simpletons who won't or can't develop the emotional, psychological, social and mental skills to thrive in the 'world,' all of whom are waiting for an event that is never coming and a savior that doesn't exist. That is clearly preferable to you rather than trying to make it in the mean ole world.

Just don't screw up too badly when you go back; you will see very quickly how loving those 'friends' are. But you should have known that already. It's amazing what you miss when your head is stuck squarely up your A***.

But the biggest question concerning this OP is WTF am I doing here? Now I have to go projectile vomit. And sign on at Reddit. This OP has to be the low point of my brief stay on this site.

As I mentioned, this is a systematic strategy Vlad is employing. In 2012 the NGO (non-government org) law was passed that was aimed at foreign funded/sources NGOs involved in political actions. That law was capable of being viewed broadly by the courts and could have included the Dark Tower, Islam, etc.

In 2015 Russia passed an update to the 2012 NGO law that very broadly could be applied to any organization deemed to be undesirable. As written and applied, the new law can apply to anyone the courts - or Vlad - finds undesirable, and the parameters by which they are deemed undesirable are also very broad and interpretive. As intended.

I don't know for certain, but I doubt the Dark Tower rates even a passing thought to Vlad.

If the Dubs, Islam, Pussy Riot or any other entity wishes to operate in Mother Russia, they will play by Vlad's rules. The laws and regulations have been written so that they can broadly interpret anything they believe is counter to Russian objectives. The Dubs can stay in Russia, but they will have to leave behind all of what makes them unique. It will be interesting to see how the Dark Lords respond. They will likely flail about like victims for a while, but in the end if they want to operate in Russia they will have to get rid of all literature and all teachings that espouses the stuff I mentioned above. The Dark Lords will either comply or leave Russia, and that is most excellent.

And Vlad and his Impalers WILL be watching.

My $ is on the Impalers. And if ISIS or some other Islamic group gets their hands on a nuclear weapon or otherwise manages to inflict massive casualties in the W world, I fully expect Vlad-like laws and regulations to be imposed on all religions. That will be the game changer.

Of course, Vlad has built somewhat of a wall around the Russian Orthodox Church, which he views in part as a relic of Mother Russia and in part that it serves his needs for influence ($, social, political).
