i watched the news on tv, and i saw reports of thousands of people all around the world asking for peace instead of war.
do you think that these peace rallies will really make a difference?.
do you think that these peace rallies will influence the president of the united states?
Here we go again....
*sigh*

ok lets hear your pathetic excuses.
c'mon now don't be shy.
let's hear what you have to say.
We're being fed propaganda plain and simple. The US only goes after dictators like Saddam when we can benefit. Our government allows plenty of evil to continue in the world without raising a finger as long as they play nice with us. Look at the human rights violations going on in Saudi Arabia and China. As for the children of Iraq, who put them in that situation? Saddam for sure but also the US with it's neverending sanctions. Something else I found on the internet that I really enjoyed:

This was posted on the internet only two days after Sept. 11th but it is still relevant.

after all the years of having it drilled in my head that demons could attach themselves to an object i now wonder: is that just more jw bull****?
am i still reacting to the years of brainwashing or is there really a concern about what one brings into their home?.
anybody have any thoughts on this????
Demons are a myth. People in ancient times needed something to explain natural and frightening phenomena.

Danny please just look into the facts. The American population is being LIED too about the reason for war. No question Saddam should be removed from office but do we really need a war to do it? Also do we really have to authority to replace another countries leader? Why are you supporting Bush? Do you think he gives a rat's ass about you? Unless you are a major contributor to him and his party or one of his families cronies the answer is no. That said, he is no differant than most politicians. I'm not a Democrat or a Republican. I sincerely encourage everyone to look into other parties as I think it may be the only way to save our government.
Peace

...is the title of joe satriani's latest release.
if you were once a satch fan but haven't listened in a while, you don't know what you are missing.
Yeah TH, he did at least have good taste in music. I saw "Woodstock", "Monterey Pop" and "Tommy" when I was in elementary school. How many kids can say that?

Thanks Dan I'll have to get that for my dad. He's a huge Satriani fan. He used to drive me to insanity by playing "Surfing with the Alien" over and over and over....He's a frustrated guitarist at heart.

its got to be rage against the machine, "killing in the name of" .
just had the bassline to this song rumbling through my head, havent heard it for ages though .
you need to know the chorus.
"Spiders"The piercing radiant moon,
The storming of poor June,
All the life running through her hair,
Approaching guiding light,
Our shallow years in fright,
Dreams are made winding through my head,
Through my head,
Before you know,
Awake,
Your lives are open wide,
The V-chip gives them sight,
All the life running through her hair,
The spiders all in tune,
The evening of the moon,
Dreams are made winding through my head,
Through my head,
Before you know,
Awake
Through my head,
Before you know,
Before you know I will be waiting all awake,
Dreams are made winding through her hair,
Dreams are made winding through her hair.
This song is by System of a Down and it makes me shiver when I listen to it.

.....a 2 part question.......1--- if you were still a witness and you played the lottery and won and 2--------if you won, right now.
Well, after taxes there might be enough left for a six pack of beer.

Just found this interesting:
* 31% of U.S. oil comes from Arab OPEC countries.
* 86% of oil imported to the U.S. from the middle east comes from Saudi Arabia and Iraq.
* In July of 2002 Chevron imported 5,061,000 barrels from Iraq.
* Chevron imports nearly five times more oil to the U.S. from Iraq than any other oil company.
* Chevron is the only major U.S. oil company that imports more oil from Iraq than from Saudi Arabia. sources for the above facts: Department of Energy publications located here or here * There are current Bush Administration plans to further reduce our dependency on Saudi Arabian oil, and to replace the Saudi supply with Iraqi oil. source: Jane's Foreign Report * BP (British Petroleum) is the only oil company other than Chevron that imports more oil to the U.S. from Iraq than from any other middle eastern nation. source: Boycott Middle-East Oil, verified with Department of Energy stats * Britain is the only other country who's government is strongly backing the U.S. invasion of Iraq. source: The Observer * George Bush Sr. is a former director of Halliburton. He is now one of the directors of The Carlyle Group, one of the U.S.'s largest defense contractors. source: The Consortium and Here In Reality * Dick Cheney, was Halliburtons chairman and chief executive. Halliburton is the worlds largest oil field services company. source: WhiteHouse.org * Halliburton has signed contracts and provides services to Chevron. source: The Consortium * The Bush Administrations' National Security Advisor, Condoleeza Rice, was a former director of Chevron and held a quarter of a million shares of Chevron stock. She even had a tanker named after her until before being appointed by President Bush. sources: Multinational Monitor and Democratic Underground
These facts show there is a serious conflict of interest with the relationships between the Bush family, the Bush Administration, Chevron, and Halliburton. The facts show the Bush family and friends stand to profit greatly from war and the controlled flow of Iraqi oil. Why should these conflicts of interest be allowed to progress to the point of war? The invasion of Iraq will certainly kill many people who have no interest, and who's families will not profit from the success or failure of Chevron, BP, Halliburton, or the Carlyle Group.
