6 reasons why so many allies want bush to slow down .

Teejay,
I've been arguing this over and over with my nutty Republican sister. I've been trying to explain to her that Bush's gung-ho attitude toward Iraq is going to hurt our "war on terror". She should be more worried than the average American because her husband is on active duty in Afghanistan.
U.N. diplomats hear rumblings from Afghanistan that al-Qaeda will strike there when the U.S. strikes Iraq
I'm going to email her the entire article but I am going to emphasize #4 just for her.

6. AMERICA'S FOREIGN POLICY IS TOO ARROGANT
Excellent article Teejay! I think reason #6 is by far the most important and I hope people look at it objectively.
Says Lousewies van der Laan, a Dutch member of the European Parliament: "They need the rest of the world more than ever, and they seem to be going out of their way to offend it."
I think this sentance says it all.

her ladyship has just presented me with a wonderful sunday lunch.
half a lobster as a starter, with salad garnish and vinaigrette.
the main course comprised a sirloin steak, bubble and squeak, topped off with a fried ducks egg.
Sounds like a whole days worth of food in one meal! Sounds delicious though.
For breakfast my son and I had homemade rye bread and cottage cheese. For lunch we'll probably have baked subs and potato salad and for dinner pork chops with mushroom gravy and almandine rice and a salad. At some point I'm gonna bake a spiced pumpkin bread so that'll probably be dessert. I LOVE to cook!

while you watch your britney spears videos...your freedom is being taken away.. while you cheer for your nba team and drink that beer...your freedom is being taken away.. while you watch cnn/msnbc/foxnews reports about laci peterson and shuttle disasters....your freedom is being taken away.. while you see one of the greatest misdirections about "condition orange" blinking on your sets....your freedom is being taken away.. while you hoot-n-holler for going to war with saddam hussien...your freedom is being taken away.. while you turn on your computer to surf the internet...your freedom is being taken away.. while you worry about what sports car to buy...your freedom is being taken away.. while you sit in your home with the heat on, enjoying 3 sqaures a day...your freedom is being taken away.. while you worry about your next job promotion...your freedom is being taken away.. while you are being suckered by the greatest sham from the u.s. government...your freedom is being taken away.. it's amazing, that very few here realize what the patriot act and dept.
of homeland defense represents....and what is now in place.
for the rest who don't know...you have my pity.
Apart from wholeheartedly agreeing with D8TA I would like to add that there are simple ways to be more involved in your government. You can sign up to be a delegate for whichever party you align yourself with. This gives you a voice in who your parties nominee is. You can even run yourself if you so choose. You can attend political rallies. I took my son to his first when he was only 3. You can attend city council meetings. You can sign and start petitions for and against policies and laws that you agree/disagree with.
Just some ideas.

many years ago, as a young child, i purchased my mother a gift when she was in the hospital.
it is a pot painted with purple orchids and it came with flowering bulbs to plant, which has a little saying on it "a mother's love fills the world with happiness.
" every trinket that i bought or made over the years, my mother cherished.
That's really beautiful Moe! There's nothing so strong as a bond between mother and child IMO. Take care Moe.
