  i know this will never happen....but if the wtbs were to discontinue the practice of shunning, do you think their would be a mass exodus of those currently in the borg.

  additionally, do you think some folks would still shun folks depiste it no longer being required by the borg?\.

  I dont get it the DF is a bible teaching .........read

  (1 Corinthians 5:11-13)

  when people repent they can come back in ..........if this is wrong why do u make rules in your home ......curfews etc .......its a protection!!!

  Still get visits from Jw's

  i have not been in the kingdom hall for 5 yrs.

  yet i still get watchtowers and awake magazines and sometimes even get talks on recorded cds in the mail.does anybody else experience this?.

  They give invites to everyone ............you know just because u give up on Jehovah doesnt mean he gives up on you.

  read about manasseh please in the bible

  isnt it great that even before we were born he gave Jesus as a ransom for us - be greatful that he still cares THAT is why u receive those things.

  i stopped going to meetings over a year ago!

  yay...me!!

  it was the body of elders that led me to my disgust with the org.

  u can say this .............i have learnt my lesson and have decided that elders are imperfect just like me ............see i have not been a perfect dad but u always come back because u know i AM dad so in the same way i dont worship elders i worship J and since he IS God i am willing to come back yes darling i love u too and yeah dont forget to tell her that u learnt the lesson by reading the bible about how people made fun of Moses and didnt wanna follow him because he was "imperfect" - Please God can only use imperfect humans and if that bugs u then rather stay away ....go see if u can find "the truth" somewhere else........and by the way if ur daughter has made the truth her own ............then u have no chance.

  Double standing on higher education

  jw discourage higher education through conventions magazine etc.

  in kindom ministry 2011 july they considered higher education as date, and use alcohol or drugs.

  however if you look at the front page of the brochure "jehovah's witnesseswho are they?

  firstly no JW dont stop u from higher education haha thats funny God couldnt stop Adam from eating the fruit because all humans have free will......so its your decision whether u want to get or go for higher education or not and yes there are many people that are Dr's etc proving that what u say about JW and higher education is your flaw!!! infact wasnt Luke the bible writer a Physician? Why was he chosen to accompany Jesus? Also the donations that are made are def not used for personal things if it was they (JW GB) would be bankrupt like most orgs thats falling apart.....they actually give free bibles ........come now which other church will give u a free bible.? if they were using the money for themselves they would charge at least what it takes to make those bks but they dont - that should speak volumes!!!

  [endif]i had a diner with the neighbors... they don't know i'm a jw cause i don't tell people anymore about it.

  somehow, the topic of cults came up and one of my neighbors said that the jw require 10% of their income to go to the church.
