How about giving talks and parts on what you can feel comfortable and refuse the ones that you feel uncomfortable with.

i recently gave a public talk, and i really felt bad about it.. it was the public talk about the great flood of noahs days.
the is so much evidence that this great deluge never happened, but that is something you can't tell the audience from the stage.
(i will tell about that evidence if people are interested, but it is a bit off-topic now).

1. go out to lunch at every session.
bring back bags of fast food that say "burger king".
or "mcdonalds" on them.
That's a great idea. I'm going to try it at the district convention in a few weeks.

well i am no longer one of jehovah's witnesses.
i had fully intentioned to disassociate myself from the platform today, but i decided that if i wanted a chance to save my marriage that i'd better tell my wife.
she immediately went to to one of the elders.
Just took a peek here tonight and came across your post and thread. I believe that congratulations are in order.
Good for you for liberating yourself from wt's tentacles.
Watchtower has no more hold on you. What a wonderful thing for you
Those of us still trapped salute you and wish you well.

i just did some rough (haha) figuring to determine how many days i spent just sitting at the hall during meetings.
i just rounded to the nearest year to be liberal in take into account missed meetings and the like.
i know the number is higher but i dont feel like getting more exact.. this just counts regular meeting times, not before and after fellowship, not fs, meeting prep, or assemblies.. i came up with 349 days.
This is really depressing. My rough calculation is about 900 days.
I'm going to go and eat some cake i deserve alfter i thought of this.
wanna
to be covered during service meetings week of 5/23/05.. q&a.
1. christians ardently desire the coming of jehovah's day, through which he will destroy the present system of things and usher in a new world of righteousness.

I don't know what is happening in the big house. It sure sounds like there are many school of thoughts up there.
Just 2 years ago in the June 1, 2003 the study article had this to say:
Jehovah?s people avoid speculation but remain spiritually alert, fully aware of political and religious developments that fit into the framework of the fulfillment of Bible prophecy
Who is specutating now?????
OH It just hit me!!!!!! It's Jehovah's people that should not speculate. The top must not be part of Jehovah's people since they do plenty of speculating.

did you get a response?
i know cruzanheart did.
i wrote one letter asking about the un.
My husband has written in the past to Georgetown Canada. The letters were usually forwarded to the local elders.
There was one particular letter where he did get a reply. In essence this reply was to tell him to "sit down and shut up". They quoted 2 tim 2:14 "not to fight about words, a thing of no usefulness at all". They advised him to be careful not to stumble over words.
They don't give a hoot about some lowly amharet.

first of all, i want to apologize for all the mistakes i will probably make, i m not very good at english, it s very hard for me to think in another language different than my native tongue (spanish, of course!!)..
i ve been lurking through this forum for a long time but i didn t dare write here because of my lack of knowledge of the language but i changed my mind.
i think i can give a different point of view from other members of usa of uk, it seems that most of the members are from theses countries.
Hi Benito,
I responded before I read your story. Enjoyed it.

Benito,
If I could speak Spanish the way you speak English I would be very happy.
Welcome to you. Please let us know a little about yourself and how you got to dissociate yourself from the JW's.
