  Isn't the new light exciting???

  well, for some jw's the gb new light is very very exciting.

  in fact its the most exciting thing that has happened in a very long time.

  this is what a long time jw told me.

  Well, for some jw's the gb new light is very very exciting. In fact its the most exciting thing that has happened in a very long time. This is what a long time jw told me. In fact she was disappointed because the next article will be a summary at the circuit assembly and she won't be able relish it fully.

  I don't get it? I don't understand how anybody can sit through this new light and not have a little bell go off that says: "wait a minute this has gone too far".

  The problem is that most don't consider it new light, only adjustments. And I believe that most are only focusing on the chart and taking from it what they want to believe, which is the end is near.

  Do you make your own soup?

  greetings, soup lovers:.

  i have a huge kitchen at my disposal (not my own); vegetables, cans of this and that and spices are scattered about, prepared to go into a cauldron of minestrone i started a few days ago.

  i'm preparing ahead so as to freeze the leftovers to heat up later at home over my hotplate.. nothing like a 6-burner gas range to simmer over!.

  Like Scully, I make soup weekly. this fall I want to make more squash soups. My family's favourites are:

  1. Italian wedding soup (my family calls it "brodo").
  2. Minestrone (minestra)
  3. Potato Lentil
  4. Beef barley
  5. Rice and cabbage
  6. Tomato tortellini and lentil
  7. Pasta e fagioli

  I think I'll go make a pot today

  I didn't intend to create a debate, but thanks to all for your responses.

  One thing is for sure, watchtower's recent changes with respects to the the governing body being the faithful slave, in part, is a knee jerk reaction to the increase of members taking the emblems.

  the Reno situation undermines the governing body's position as" king of the castle". I think that as more and more start partaking, the gb's need for power is going to increase and they will go to extreme measures to prove that they alone are commissioned by God. Its a train wreck.

  I am personally happy that these groups are springing up. The bigger the thorn in watchtower's side the better.
