i rarely get on instagram anymore because i dont want to deal with the jw propaganda but i swear sometimes i just want to comment on one of those pics 'jw life is the worst life ever wake up already'.
does anyone else know what i'm talking about?

it reminded me of Ray Franz comments on the "organization" and how there are simply victims of victims. As much as I am tempted to feel anger and resentment for the leaders of the Watchtower, they too are victims. They may not realize that, but it is nonetheless the truth. The monster, if you want to call it that, is the Watchtower Society. At least that is the way I see it, and come to terms with my experience. How about you?
First of all, Ray Franz, in his later years, got to the point where he began to take shots at the organization and he came around and see the organizational men for what they are --not victims but as victimizers.
You cannot separate the leaders from the watchtower. they are one and the same. I've come to believe that the leaders are well aware of the what they are doing . They are experts at manipulating millions of poor rank and file. These are the true victims. Not them. I hope they drop dead.

just for the mere fact that i wasn't anger and bitter and ready to declare the gb the sociopathic criminals that so many here ascribe to, my initial question digressed to bickering over ad hominem attacks against the gb and not my beliefs that i'm questioning.

2016 Memorial Done & Dusted
by steve2 inwell on this side of the planet, the southern hemisphere/ new zealand, the 2016 memorial service in local kingdom halls will be over for another year.
another great big anticlimax.
some family and relatives will have gone - but unless i ask my sister, i generally have no idea about attendance and partaker numbers.

Just got back for the worst memorial in my whole 45 years of going to them. I felt so bad for the people who had to listen to the speaker who was literally yelling. It was the worst talk ever. There was a token mention to the ransom and the rest was all about who should drink the wine and eat the crackers.
There were few people to show for the 14,000 tracts that were placed. Most the the people that attended were the usual yearly attenders. The same ones that have been coming for the last decade.
Pretty pathetic event.

if they keep taking money from JWs like they have been, people won't be able to afford to be a JW because, membership will require just to much money.
I think there are enough of the old generation that that is still heavily supporting the watchtower. I am talking about folks like my parents in their 70's and 80's.
The younger generation of jw's just dont have it to give. They don't have any education and work at low-paying jobs barely keeping their own heads out of water. I know a lot of them live pay check to pay check and have lots of debts. How much can these really give.
