I bring up lots of Blondie's points in my comments at the hall. But usually no one pays attention. No one really listens to what anybody says. The meetings are made up of brain dead bodies.

Blondies WT studies

today, one thought is sticking in my mind: the fact that noah had 500 years to preach and that lot had "5 minutes".....he was trying to get his sons-in-law to go with them out of sodom.
i would suppose that the gb would say that the brothers knew lot to be a god-fearing, jehovah-worshipping man and that he would certainly not steer them wrong, therefore, they should have heeded his advice without question and that maybe the angels were of such beauty or noticeably were sons of god that the sons should have had no excuse.. now, my point is this: has anybody had enough guts to bring up one of blondie's points up at the meeting or in conversation with another jw to see what would be said.. i think it would have been interesting to have commented on the lot/noah thing this morning.

When I read phrases such as this I get so angry. Schooling is always useful. A high school diploma is worth nada these days.What do the old goats up in Brooklyn really know about schooling? What do they know about living in the real world? I wonder if they could make on the outside without schooling?
I am a prime example of one who listened to them. I didin't go to college I listened to their garbage and pioneered instead.
Thank God that I married someone who defied watchtower and got himself an education so that today I am well cared for.
I often wonder what would become of me in my forties and few skills.
I am sorry for ranting. This is a real sore spot for me.

Yep, the higher you are the bigger the case.
Around here most elders carry these huge rectangular boxes.
It's like a status symbol.
A few years ago some were using a smaller version of these bags. They used to be referred to "my reaching out case".
When I was pioneering the"in" bag was also very big with a strap that would go around your shoulder.
For service I notices that some prefer to carry smaller cases or they will carry the mags in plastic protectors.

i know of an elder who is an gynocologist.
and he is in good standing with the organization and a well respected man.. a long time ago, out of curiosity, i asked a co once; if we 'strictly' go by the wt, and if we are looking at this 'objectively', openly and 'technically', and go by what the society says about touching another person in this way, isn't this elder committing pornea every day?

Remembering my Dad...

age 79. heart problems, stroke, and then burst artery in his heart.
one of the most painful ways for a human being to die.. despite our disfunctional life, i remember the good and let go of the stuff that brings me sadness.

My best JW's friend baby passed away
by Eyebrow2 inhe was only 5 months and 1 week old...he was not breathing when they woke up on wednesday, and they tried cpr, but it didnt work.....i am so sad for them.
she was the sister that studied with me before i was baptised, and also the best friend i ever had, in or out of the jws.
she moved away from about 4 years ago, and we had only spoken a few times on the phone since then.. a mutual friend of ours called me yesterday morning and told me.
