i was scared sh*tless.
i stayed home from work for four days scared to go out of my house thinking god would strike me down by lightening if was wrong with my thoughts... i couldn't sleep at all.... but i had to take that first step... as scary as it was....
Cognac - as you, I was also scared. I remember being alone at the computer reading this forum and involuntarily looking over my shoulder. When I read Ray Franz's books I looked myself in my bedroom.
I can laugh at it now--to think of the level of control this org had on me.
hey i just read on another thread that they dont study the truth book or the paradise book anymore.. omg when i was a dub i was always trying to get studies with the paradise book.. .

You don't have to admit anything to the elders. Deny it and tell them that your mom misunderstood you -you never slept with your BF and would never do such a thing. After all they don't have any witnesses. Wouldn't they need witnesses to disfellowship?

well it has been an interesting year for me; some heartache; some growth; and a lot of change.
regardless of where we are on our journey away from the jehovahs witnesses we will be confronted with opportunities to learn and grow.
we dont know where life will take us.

the society takes the hundred year anniversary of 1914 head-on with more spin and disinformation.
already laid the groundwork with the "100 years ago" feature in the new yearbook.
I think that the door to door work preaching work will take a step back---- and at some some will make an optional thing.

I heard through the grapevines that in London , Ontario Canada the municipality has given permission to set up a stand in the public library. However they are forbidden to ask for donations.
