"Blessed are you when people insult you, persecute you and falsely say all kinds of evil against you because of me."(MATTHEW 5:11)
A chaplin in the U.S. Navy has been denied his right to pray in Jesus' name. Jesus Christ Himself spoke these things in Matt 5:11. This info you will not read in the news media, because the media as approved abortions, gay rights,
On KLIN radio station out in Lincoln Nebraska has been reporting that a USN chaplin has gone on a hunger strike and refuses to wear the USN chaplin uniform until he has the right to pray in Jesus' name.

Are We Christ's Witnesses or Jehovah Witnesses?
by RevFrank inno matter what the watchtower says, the watchtower turns their followers away from the bible.. let's look at isaiah 43:10........(nwths)..."you are my witnesses is the utterance of jehovah..even my servant whom i have chosen, in order that you may know and have faith in me, and that you may understand that i am the same one.
before me there was no god formed, and after me there continued to be none....11>i am jehovah and besides me there is no savior.".
but don't stop there....there's more..in acts 1:8...it says..."but you will receive power when the holy spirit arrives upon you, and you will be witnesses of me both in jerusalem and in all judea and samaria and to the most distant part of the earth..".

You're right JEFF...Calling the watchtower apostites is being mild...lol.........
...As for yaddayadda, I'm sorry.....I'm not talking about the trinity....you seem to have been a jw a while back or has been studying before.
I'm not even going to, try, to qualify myself to you nor even attempt to try to see it from my side of opinion. For over a thousand of years no one has really been challenged on the arian point of view. Oh I'm sure they were around, but they really never serviced until the establishment of the watchtower bible and tract society.
It's been 2,000 years since Christ and the Apostles and before 100 AD many of the church was slipping away. That's the reason Paul(Saul) told so much on following the true path of Christ.
Now who am I to challenge the watchtower? Just a learned scholar, as Walter Martin, who told the world, without fear, to challenge any religion who thinks they are right. The Catholic Church must be right....the LDS are right...Islamics must be right....the Jews must be right, (jews aren't too far off) the watchtower must be right......I can go on and on and on. But then again I don't follow the world's religions......I follow Christ.
I'm a sinner....I've fallen short of God's loving grace....Yet before I came into the world, Christ suffered and died for me too. Christ died for everyone of us.....
Watchtower bible and Tract Society are spiritually dead wrong. They follow the antichrist.....And I don't deserve the loving grace the LORD has offered me, yet He offers it to me, because of the love He has for all of us.
Why even an atheists aren't atheists...because an atheist is required to know all things..(Atheists is a different issue) At least they aren't that sure on many issues.
Why do I make the statement that you are or were a JW? because I know them..I know how they breath, eat, sleep, dream, walk, and talk. Been there done that....And one thing the watchtower told me back in the early 70s, do the research on the other religions. I did....then when I began to study on the watchtower itself, the watchtower came unglued.
In a small book of theirs called, "the Truth book," there's a chapter on, "Why is it wise to study your religion, " So when I ventured into studying the watchtower, they came unglued. They wanted to stop me. The more they tried, the more I studied. I did research...I did research on the, "Church Fathers." I did so much research..and needed to study the ancient languages...and that wasn't easy,,,,I needed to qualify even the ancient words and phrases.............
Trinity........It's a mixture of arabic and ancient hebrew wth a dash of latan..meaning three not to mention of koein greek. And a name for God, also, is El-ohim which means One, but no more then 3. This is ancient hebrew....Elohim. And this took me years to reach this answer. I'm not going to explain to you how or why I came to it...you wouldn't understand it anyway.
be well.....

No matter what the Watchtower says, the watchtower turns their followers away from the bible.
Let's look at Isaiah 43:10........(NWTHS)..."You are my witnesses is the utterance of Jehovah..even my servant whom I have chosen, in order that you may know and have faith in Me, and that you may understand that I am the same One. Before me there was no God formed, and after me there continued to be none....11>I am Jehovah and besides me there is no Savior."
But don't stop there....there's more..in Acts 1:8...it says..."but you will receive power when the Holy Spirit arrives upon you, and you will be witnesses of me both in Jerusalem and in all Judea and Samaria and to the most distant part of the earth.."
So Jehovah said it about witnesses and Himself, yet Jesus said the same..Which is which? But wait...there's more.........
As I said in Isaiah 43:11....where Jehovah God says there is no other Savior, yet in Titus 2:13..it says..."while we wait for the happy hope and glorious manifestation of the great God and Savior of us, Christ, Jesus..." Two Saviors? Didn't Jehovah say He was the only Savior? Yet scripture just say that God was our Savior Christ?...Wait..there's more.......
Now the book of Romans, by Paul, opens many eyes to see the truth of the Holy Spirit....In Romans 10:13, tells us....For everyone who calls on the name of the LORD will be saved." Now hold that tought on everyone and go to 1 John 5:1....."
..."Everyone
believing that Jesus is the Christ has been born from God, and everyone who loves the One that causes to be born loves Him who has been born from that One.."So..can can these things be so? Two Saviors? After all Jehovah said Himself that thre is no other God or gods.....Confusing is it not?..Not unless The Christ is the incarnate Jehovah God. That's the only way it can be.
As for witnesses....Jehovah Said Isreal is the witnesses. Christ said we are His witnesses.
Peace...

Mormons celebrate 200 years
by oldflame injoseph smith founded the church in 1830, 10 years after he claimed to experience a vision of god and jesus in a grove of trees near his family home in palmyra, n.y. he also said an angel named moroni led him to a set of buried gold plates that contained the ancient records of christ's dealings with the inhabitants of the americas.
smith's translation of the plates became known as the book of mormon, the text on which mormons base their religion.. smith's original church had just six members, mostly his family, and only 5,000 copies of the book of mormon were published at first.
he sent out a handful of missionaries.. today mormonism has more than 12 million members half of them outside the united states.

it's my opinion, but joe smith needed to have a reason to have sex with plenty of women, including married women, so he came up with this Mormon thing.
Back in the 60s, "Hippy era," I was looking to incorporate sexual play into a religion. Then someone came around and told me that Joe Smith..LDS (Mormons) already did that. That was a bad scene and bummer for a whole year. I went on a bad trip for awhile.....you know..way out and it wasn't grovy........

Keep doing this in remembrance of me
by totalee inwhy is it ok to celebrate a wedding anniversary but not a birthday?
i can understand christmas, easter, halloween and valentines day but birthdays, thanksgiving, mother's day and father's day don't have religious or murderous origins.
also, at the last supper, jesus told his disciples to "keep doing this in remembrance of me".

1 John 5:1 states that "everyone..."(NWTHS)
Why is it OK to celebrate a wedding anniversary but not a birthday? I can understand Christmas, Easter, Halloween and Valentines day but birthdays, thanksgiving, mother's day and father's day don't have religious or murderous origins. Also, at the last supper, Jesus told his disciples to "keep doing this in remembrance of me". If Jesus set the example, why is it that all JW's do not partake? I understand that JW's believe that only the 144,000 are to partake of the bread and wine, but did not Jesus die so that all of mankind would be saved? I never understood the point of attending the memorial service just to touch a plate and cup. And while I am thinking about it, are any of the 144,000 members of the Governing Body? And, who are the faithful and discrete slave? Where in RED.....the watchtower does not believe that Christ died for everyone. And in 1 John 5:1 states that everyone who believes is saved.....so does Romans 9. Yet the watchtower says that the bible is wrong....Ask any Elder. Of course that may bring the Commette come running

Do convereted jews believe that Jesus is Jehovah?
by RevFrank inwhen i debate with witnesses and it comes to scripture about jesus making statements that lead to jews thinking jesus is making statements that he is god..many of witnesses denie that jesus was telling the jews that he was god.
i make them turn to john 10:33--->>>there the jews argue about it.
and when they read it..they try to explain, witnesses, it states something different.. witnesses do denie the exsistance of the trinity.

Witnesses do denie the exsistance of the Trinity. But then again what do the jews believe if they do convert to christianity? I always wondered about that myself until I ran across those who were in, "Jews For Jesus."
So here's a link to their belief on their doctrinal statement. There it says it all.

I headed to the link and heard it myself. It was good, but when you think about it, it leads to the question of faith.
What is faith? According to scripture, it's a substance, yet unseen. Yet having faith doesn't mean for some to say, "Just shut-up," as Teller said. Faith is something that one knews that is greater then him or herself. Haing faith is the ultimate in knowing one requires to give all of himself, or herself to a bigger understanding of who is the more ultimate understanding of how truth speaks of what it is.
To say, "I have faith in God," is knowing that God will take care of whatever life has to give and God gives all. Doesn't mean that when hard times come I need to give up. When hard times come I'm required to more more carefully so I can actually see God in motion in life. Yet it doesn't mean I need to stand still. It requires patience so one can hear the voice of God. Faith.....either you have it or you don't. There's no middle of the road here. And to hope, it requires having faith knowing that faith fulfills all questions.
It's easier to say no to faith. Why? Because no means to stop. And to say yes to faith..that means hard work and it requires patience to the final finish. Faith may take a life time..but again, no means you needn't work at it.
