History of the Bible - JWs will not like this
by Amazing1914 inhistorically, the bible is a secondary support for christians and jews.
i was raised roman catholic, and our tradition and practices included the bible, but it was not a key centerpiece of our faith.
the jewish side of my family likewise have a rich history of tradition and faith that is lived, and not pinned down to every word in the bible.

Why I know the Watchtower has the Truth:
by Honesty ini urge you to disregard any personal opinions voiced by anyone, including myself regarding watchtower society publications.
but i would like to ask you to meditate on why god is so puny and ineffective.

Questions: What is the Sacred Secret? and Locusts of Abyss?
by Guest with Questions ini have a copy of may 1,1998 watchtower.
when i heard a few years ago about the witnesses believing that they were the locusts i thought it was just a rumour; that even for a jw org it was too far fetched.
a few weeks ago i read about it again on this site.

Just another tibbit.....while I was studying with the witnesses, one of the main issues, they say is, many a church, kept secrets from us, yet the watchtower kept on harping on this so called Sacred Secret. Yet Christ told us that all things would be reveled to us when the Holy Spirit came to us.
Jhn 14:26 But the Comforter, [which is] the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, He shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you. So for those who desire to know the Holy Spirit will teach us....So there really isn't any secret, because the Holy Spirit is ours to learn.

Jews 4 Jesus....Do they believe and what do they believe.

and a part of my heritage, i have jewish blood flowing through me, also.
but that's not importanbt at the moment..what is, is that do the jews believe as a christian?....

It's really funny to think about it.I made a statement considering the Isrealites converting to christianity and what they believe.....and right here I get some back lash on what they believe....I never said those jews who converted to the Witnesses...I never said those jews who converted to mormonism(but I doubt)...I said the, "Statement of Faith," considering, "Jews 4 Jesus."
Apperently those who denie the, "Trinity," must push their opinions reguardless of the costs. Trinity......more then a latan word....yet it breaks down meaning 3-in-1. I'm not going any further in trying to educate someone who must insist their error must be right.
All I said was, if anyone who thinks sideways :-),,,,is the Jews 4 Jesus has the same reasonings as most christians.
