I hope Ruuuben wins, and Kim comes in second. Clay is ok, kinda reminds me of Barry Manilow, except Clay sings without feeling. His voice is great, very powerful, but just no emotion. I have never liked Trenyce, don't know why, just don't. I think Josh has been in this long because of the patriotic spirit of the country, and his time is up.

You are pretty funny, sixofnine, deflecting things off and calling me a racist. I never mentioned the word, nor called you any names at all, I simply said your comment was hurtful. If you can't see that insulting a group of people (and yes, insinuating that a group of people don't know how to behave acceptably in a social setting is is insulting) is wrong, then, you aren't ready to take an objective look at yourself. So, having a sense of humor about the differences in race and culture means that all black people talk in movies? You REALLY can't see that that is, at best, an unkind remark? As though "black culture" demands that people talk during movies, or at least, that most black people talk during movies? Whatever, again, I will drop the subject. I won't respond anymore, there's no point, although I'm sure you will feel the need to "get in the last word" so have a good night.

It's sad when people make hurtful remarks, and then accuse others of not having a sense of humor. However, I see that you are not willing to consider that your comment may have been offensive, so I won't say anymore about it. Just be careful that you don't ever take offense at anyone else's attempt at "humor", because then you will be quite the hypocrite.

Sixofnine : black people probably talk through VIP speeches the same way they talk thru movies) *gratuitous wink so the black people don't kick my ass
While I am sure you put in the little wink and smiley face to make your very offensive remark less offensive, it didn’t work. There was no need for it, and it was hurtful. I respectfully request that remarks like that not be put on a public forum.

The memorial held--in Prince's concert hall!
by Pistoff in.
i know most will not believe this, but the cologne or navarre mn hall held their memorial in prince's digs--the place where he has had many local concerts.. in case you did not know, he is now a baptized witness; not a rumor; i have sources from that state who were there when they announced mr and mrs prince nelson as new brother and sister.. i can't imagine what went thru the elders' minds; who in their right mind can not see this as a tiny problem with conflict?
or reputation???.

I'm with you, Sandy, there needs to be real proof of Prince's baptism, especially since I never heard of any "annoucements" being made when someone gets baptized. Also, I really believe the media would have jumped all over this, after all, this is the musician who gave us such songs as "Head" and "Sexy Mutha*****".

Just a note that this is obviously tongue in cheek (although many may wish it was not).

Another cool tip is to soak pans with burnt on food on the botton with a little automatic dishwashing soap, add water and let sit.............the "stuff" lifts out! Incredible! No more scouring!
I have found that if you actually let these pots and pans come to a boil with the soapy water in them, it makes it even easier to clean.

WHAT IS YOUR PET PEVE?
by kls inwhat is it that really irritates you ,i mean the most annoying ,thing that when you see it or hear it you just clench your teeth,we all have them so let's hear yours.mine is religious boasting.there is this home builder that advertises on tv and says his crap then says we are a christien company.oh yes , because he said that i would trust him more then anyone else,he must have higher standards.
(ya right).or those people who advertise with bumper stickers of their religion, and yes the freaking door bell ringers trying to push their crap on me.isn't it what you feel inside?why advertise to everyone?does it make you feel more important or more religious?because of the attempt to show me that you have faith does not make me feel i could trust you.
this is just one of my irritants and hope not do offend, everyone has the right.

I guess I am a snob, because my biggest peeves involve people who don't write or speak clearly. And there are certain "colloquialisms" that drive me crazy, for instance when people say they want to "conversate" instead of having a "conversation", and when they say "my bad" instead of "I'm sorry". And, while I understand that not everyone who posts here is a native English speaker, I would really appreciate more attention being paid to the format of messages. Sometimes I just give up on what might be an interesting subject, because I am having such a hard time deciphering what the poster is saying.
Oh yes, and I hate people who drive slow in the "fast" lane, too. Get a bike!!!

Dana,
I have no idea what your original thread was, but in reading your post here, it seemed like a sincere apology to me, and I don't understand why that wasn't obvious to everyone. Just my humble opinion, and hopefully you and Larc have mended your fences.
