I guess I would choose Evan, because he never came across as too phony or too wussy. Ryan is cute, and maybe it's just bad editing, but he came across as having little or no backbone.

My father is dead

his body was found today and the plano police department called me.
i am numb and grieving, kind of relieved for a lot of reasons, and very very sad.

Nina,
My deepest sympathy to you and your family. I lost my dad, too, and while I know you never get over the loss, in time the good memories really will help to comfort you.
All my best,

JOE MILLIONAIRE - NOT!!
by Mary in.
okay for those of us that actually watched the final episode last night (and are willing to admit it): what would you have done if you were the girl and he told you he had "chosen" you.......but then you found out that he lied and didn't have any $$$......would you still wanna see him?.
and guys, would you ever consider trying something like this?.

I watched too, and I agree with Mulan. I would have played the role, knowing any other answer would make me look like a money hungry gold digger. I thought the "twist" was a little anti-climactic, they should have had someone else bring in the check with a big build up. I'm glad they got the ratings they were looking for, as I doubt they will ever be able to do another one of these.

Hey, SP,
I understand your need for a break, and I hope it does you good. While you and I don't agree on everything, I have always respected your attempts to disagree without being mean, spiteful, or otherwise using other people to make yourself feel better. People who resort to name calling and denigrating the thoughts and opinions of others show a lot about the kind of people they really are. I agree, too, that there is no changing some peoples opinions, and you are better off not stressing by trying.
Best to you and your family, please drop me a line occasionally just to keep me up to date.
Peace

Editedto add - Francois, with an attitude like this "I believe that if you are selling me a milk shake, a pack of cigarettes, a newspaper or a hotel room, you must do it in English! As a matter of fact, if you want to be an American citizen you should have to speak English! My father and grandfather shouldn't have to die in vain so you can leave the countries you were born in to come over and disrespect ours. " I think you would need to be the one to watch yourself in Florida.

Not to be sexist, but are the men hoping Tatiana and Tinkerbell will kiss (on camera) and make up?
Seriously, I hope the two of you are cool now, because you are both really great ladies.

Did anyone here actually enjoy meetings?
by berylblue ini always found them to be painfully boring at best.
speaking of meetings, i was in a congregation where people openly admitted that the -only- reason they went was to see who brother cassanova-wanna-be (you know, the total geek who, in the world, wouldn't be able to pay a prostitute to go out with him, but in the truth, was considered a "catch" by virtue of having a penis) was going to hit on that week.
this brother routinely preyed upon women, leading them on, in some cases, rather cruelly.

Enjoy the meetings???? BBBWWWAAAAHHHAAHAHAHAHAHA
I did enjoy the association afterwards with people I thought were my friends, but I can honestly say I never enjoyed listening to the meetings.

What do you think when you go by a Kingdom Hall?
by TresHappy ini drive by a kh every day, since it's very close to my work route, and i was wondering if anyone else secretly cheers that they don't have to go back into one of those things.
when i see a few cars parked there on the weekday, i am so thankful i don't have to go out and talk that stuff to strangers.
any thoughts?

I sometimes drive by one in a kind of upscale neighborhood with lots of hills. I always look at it and wonder how many members they have there, if they go out in service (hi, I'm not walking those hills for anybody), and what kind of half life those people are living. I think it would be a great idea to sneak and decorate a bunch of halls with Christmas lights this year. Anyone want to help?

Hi,
I'm too stupid to know how to attach a message to this board, so I sent one to your e-mail. I hope that's ok. Please give Melanie my best.
Hugs to you and your family (((((()))))))))
