my sister just moved into my home with her four children.

sadly her marriage has not worked out, and i felt it was the very least i could do to help her.. she is waiting for public housing, and i remembered an old witness freind who worked for the government department who did that.

so like a fool i decided to see him.

Irregardless of a bad day / exiting dub experience / whatever......you have a right to be treated to with respect irregardless if you were ex-friends or not....in this case and as he was representing a government service you have a right to lodge a grievance against this sort of behaviour. All services nowadays including government departments have client / consumer charter`s that will outline your expectations of staff treatment of you. Its up to you if you take it further, in fact HE himself, has to give you the information (if you request it) about how to go about lodging a grievance or you can take it up with his direct supervisor. I find that if you exercise your rights that people will soon back down and at least begin to address the original issue which in this case was a genuine query about public housing........

i realize that this is a stretch but is there anyone on this forum that at some time thought they might have been of the anointed?

Well she has been `one` for over 15 yrs (so she thinks!) although ahe has been a jdub for nearly 35 yrs...(since I was about 8yrs old). The strange thing is that I don`t think anyone really agrees with her that she is one...even in the cong. We NEVER speak dub stuff as I was DF`ed when I was 22. The subject has never come up..although I have discussed the subject with my sister who left (DF`ed - five yeard ago) who thinks that it is all a figment of her mind....Personally I believe that she HAD to MAKE HERSELF one as it was the only place to go for her and what I mean by that is she has always been a domineering / contolling woman who wanted her family to do all that she wanted - and to some extent she lost a lot of power with the accompanying patriachy and by being a woman in the cong....I think she had to then deliberately `choose` to be an annointed so that she would gain some INDIVIDUAL POWER back. Thats my theory and I believe she is convinced that she is `annointed`. ........Funny thing is that she doesn`t portray any level of christian humility and /or empathy for people even her own family who she still shuns.....shame eh!!!

I'm so very depressed...

lately, i've been really depressed at missing out on my life.

from being pulled out of school in the 3rd grade to keep me away from the "worldly" kids.

i was basically isolated.

Nickey.....its easy to get depressed when you have such a `crazy` upbringing as we all had..but as has been said before at least you have your age on your side....my goal in life from the age of about 20 was to go to Uni and get a degree ...any hey I`ve finally accomplished that now......even though it takes a lot of get up and go if you really want to do it you will....

One died at 42-one at 46- your alive!!thank God

many of them were fascinating reading for an observant student of watchtower history.

recurring subjects that year revolved around russells chronology and the dogmatic insistance that russells dates were divinely inspired.
