  so what is your view?

  am i living in sin?

  in god's eyes when you sleep together you are "married" no where in the bible does it mention signing legal documents.

  Thank you all very your imputs. It is good to see how other people view the situation.

  My main aim was to see what people's view points were in relation to how many still lived their lives closely by biblical standards.

  I am glad to see that a majority feels the same as I do.

  I am living my life and being happy. My partner and I are fully commited to each other and we will be getting married next year or early 2004.

  I know I will have to deal with the guilt feelings and they are getting less and less every day as he makes me feel more self confident about myself and my decisions on leaving the borg. He is fantastic and very supportive even when I have days where I just want to cry all day.

  I couldnt ask for anyone more committed then him.

  I know what the answer is and I know what I feel but I just wanted to see what the general viewpoint was....

  I know I will do what I think is right.. But to me a forum is about getting other people's viewpoints. I didnt want to be told what to do..

  there's soo many yummy cheeses.

  one that hasn't been mentioned that i like a lot is pepper jack cheese (yummy!!!

  ) havarti is a nice mild, smooth and creamy delight!!.

  i was reading the post on our standing within the congregation http://www.jehovahs-witness.com/forum/thread.aspx?id=40040&site=3&page=3 and no matter what part of the world we live in, its always the same thing.. it is always the elders kids that get away with murder while the ones that are really trying to do the right thing always get blamed for it.. when i would mention this to my mum she would always reply with, satan has already got them.

  he is trying to get you.. if you are getting persecuted.. it means you are doing the right thing.. does that sound strange to anyone other then me?.

  SHOULD JWS USE KNOTS?

  i understand that knots r tied to babylonian superstition.. the babylonians believed that knots foretold the future,therefore should a jw use anthing 2 do with knots?.

  (i understand that into the 2 0th century,shetland housewife would sell handerchiefs with knots in them so sailors would untie them to release the wind).. can someone send this new light 2 brooklyn?

  Did anyone see Serena Williams on The Tonight Show

  last night i happened to surf onto the tonight show.

  bob newhart was the first guest, the second was serena williams.

  as i'd never actually seen her before [not a sports buff] and all i'd heard about her was the various jw postings, i was curious.. first, she came off as totally natural to me.

  He still calls himself a JW though. I remember reading an article one christmas about michael when he was married to prisilla presley and he said that they would not be celebrating christmas this year as he is a jw and she was into that sciencetology religion.
