Definitely should legalize weed, won't be too long before the decriminalization of it will be spreading. Salvia Divinorium, way to go!!! check out - www.herbal-smoke.com

Legalize ALL Drugs. Yes or No?
by SpannerintheWorks ini thought it would be interesting to get a cross-sectional view of your opinions on whether all drugs (lsd, heroin, cocaine, etc.
be legalized so that they then became freely available to the general population, in the same way that alcohol and tobacco are .

Logansrun.....has arrived
by logansrun ini just thought i would post a little about myself here, even though some of you might know me from the "beyond jehovah's witnesses" forum.
my name is bradley and i live in a suburb of chicago illinois.
i'm currently twenty six years old and left the jws about nine months ago after a year and a half of intense doubts, many hundreds of hours of research, cognitive dissonance and bouts of vomitting (stressful, eh?).

As always, I congratulate anyone who was able to walk away from the WTS with their sense of independence intact, not to mention freedom to pursue intellectual interests. Welcome and make yourself at home.

Thanks for all of the replies. I, too, had no idea that so many still go to meetings. I haven't been in over a year and never will again.

TO ALL WHO HAVE POSTED IN REPLY & TO LARC:
I am truly inspired by all of your comments! I have only been on this site for a few weeks and have been free for just over a year now. I have been trying to figure out where I have been for the almost 11 years while I was inside the organization, time and history seem to be a blur, but the veil of mind controling rules is slowly being lifted and my vision is becoming clearer every day now. I have also been searching out the many directions I can choose to go now with my life, it feels like I have just been released back into the real world after being in prison for 11 years. So many choices but they are mine to make now, they don't come pre-packged in the form of watchtower publications that we were expected to memorize and then try to act it out in real life, like an actor playing a part following a script. Freedom of the mind is a wonderful thing!!!

The Truth About "New Light"
by Farkel inah!
new light!
what dub worth his salt doesn't eagerly anticipate each district assembly or watchtower magazine to "glean" any "new light" that might be presented?

Amazing insight Farkel. It was recommended that I read some of your older threads as I am just one year out and starting to try to purge myself of implanted beliefs. I'm looking forward to reading them.

Blondie,
I have to say that is the best review of a wt I have ever read. Great job to all of the respondants, too. I am also new to posting here and appreciate everyone's research, it help me to see even clearer how wrong I was as a dub and how glad I am to be free!!!

My story...
by christopherceo inokay, i've chatted with several of you and i thought it was time to tell my story.
it all began during the gulf war early in january 1991. i was concerned about the war becoming the end of the world and naturally, because of my lifestyle, i began asking myself what i intended to do with my life.
a pioneer sister worked in the office where i worked, i knew she was a witness and studied the bible so i asked her opinion on what was happening.

Thanks again guys!!! I feel welcome!!!
Gumby, to answer your questions, she was disfellowshipped for marrying me because she was a pioneer and was warned by the elders to stay away from me. I wish they had told me that about her!!! As far as priveledges in Fl, they felt that it was totally inappropriate for her to partake when she was so young and did not like the impression it gave the cong., therefore, they would not let me do ANYTHING, not even hand out talk slips.
Hope I have settled your doubts.
