  Thanks for clearing up my misunderstanding. I still don't really get it about the hospital job though, I knew a nurse who was a JW and didn't seem to have any pressure to quit. Hey, what's up with your last post? Looks like another language.

  Are pets important in your life?

  i always loved little animals, and i always will have one.

  i noticed that most families do have pets.

  for people living alone, a pet is a good companion.

  Yes! We love our dog, Maggie (pitbull mix--don't tell anyone) and our cat who looks like a Russian Blue, but is probably just a run of the mill kitty. Both are from the Humane Society and we really lucked out, they are just terrific--- the best pets I've ever had!

  I am moving but where to?

  my sister told me the other day that at the end of june a friend of her's is moving to detroit and i will need to move out.

  i was hurt at first but i understand why now.

  she loves children but she has very little patience for them.

  Oh, I just realized after reading Zena's post, that your're an artsy person too! So is my sister, please do contact me, even if you decide to stay where you are, you two would have so much to discuss. She has only been recently disfellowshiped and is starting to go to school now. She wants to teach music and is a wonderful artist! She may do some portaits to make money on the side. Anyway, please do get in touch.

  Just to clarify, they never "ran off" together. So to most of the congregation, things were normal. Guess most people never know. Funny how that whole "don't say anything" seems to favor the perpetrators more than the innocent huh?

  This has happened more in my congregations than I care to tell. And yes, to "yours truly" personally. (hey, I was the victim, not the perpetrator,if you must know). Hate to sound jaded, calloused or whateverl, but it's true, the JW's are no better than your average Joe.
