and this is a molehill that is trying to be a mountain.
We are talking about the Watchtower Society here. The (royal) master at making molehills into mountains. If they are going to continue to sling manure in our face, then I believe we have the (right) to sling it back! I firmly believe that some of the (money) they are spending for their nice fancy Kingdom Halls, could be better spent by helping (disaster) relief victims, the poor, the hungry, the disabled. Do you know for a (fact) that this particular sign was donated? Show us your proof! If you have none, then we have to conclude that it was bought and paid for.

not to make light of those who were sexually abused, but i think there is an epedimic of other types of abuse in the org.. how many here have been, or know of, someone who was "spanked" regularly and excessively?

A few days ago I received an email response from an intern who said that they had had their eyes opened by reading my mail, and that the contents matched their experiences when a member of an Evangelical Christian group. The intern said they were grateful for the letter and promised to forward it to the directors.
These are the kinds of experiences I find very encouraging. Good work! I hope further contact will continue.

They heard from us (twice)! First from me, and then from my wife.
i went to the meeting yesterday because the out of town speaker and his wife are good friends of my wife and i. after the meeting we got invited to someones house who was feeding the speaker because they know that we are friends and because ive missed lots of meetings in the last two months and my wife and i need a good love bombing!
well during our lunch i was complaining about my having braces at 30 and how stupid i looked with them and the 83 year old sisters house we were at told me that i wasted my money on them because the end would be here with 7 years anyway.
i asked her "do you really think so?
People like that lady are the ones I really feel sorry for.
