george bush's administration and the government is at it again, warning americans to buy among other things sheets of plastic and duct tape, select a panic room in the home, and seal every orifice to prevent biological, chemical or radioactive agents from seeping through any cracks.

nevermind that those successful enough to seal a room completely air-tight will suffocate long before they become deceased from airborne agents of warfare.

how many of you are concerned the ugly turn of events worldwide portends the great tribulation leading to armageddon?

there are people that can only function in conflict.

they do thier best work when there is chaos.

some of these leaders accomplish great things for thier nations, some only bring despair.

Sloan can you at least consider the huge loss of life this war would cost?
The mainstream news will cover the loss of life from the U.S side but what about the thousands of Iraqi soldiers that are required to join the military and fight the U.S? What about the Iraqi boys that will have their familys killed or tortured if they defect? I say we change our politics even if it means we won't be a superpower any longer. It isn't sensible to fight a cruel human like Saddam when he sends his own young men to be sacrificed in a pointless war that he will not win. Now consider the civilian life that will likely be lost and I think it compounds and amplifies the point that this war should be diverted till we gain some international cooperation.

Public Talk Déjà vu

several weeks ago i sat through the public talk and could not believe the lack of substance of the talk.

it was filled with worn out bromides and illustrations that we have all heard hundreds of times.

i was embarrassed for the speaker and flabbergasted that the audience could actual sit through such nonsense.. thenabout half way through the talk, i realized that i recognized the talk.

here is mine.. back in the early 70's i was married at the age of 18, typical witness thing to do.

my husband who was 6 years older than i ruled me like a overly strict father.

i have a contact ( relative ) that is very close to a writing department researcher.. he claims that there was a private extraordinary meeting that was had about 6 months ago.

9 of the gb members were present and a handfull of elitists that apparently no-one knows or would recognise.

any tips on how to get thru convention meetings as painless as possible?

i have the most awful time doing nothing for 4 hours straight.

last time i resorted to doodling in my "note" book, but i got it taken away.

Get a security thing to place under your name badge. That sucker is a get out of jail free card. You can walk around and boss people around. Better then sitting down I guess.

Saddam's speech to the nation

i heard some of saddam's speech that he held to the iraqi nation (on the news).

he warned usa that they can not attac iraq.

because god is on saddam's side, and god would never let anyone to beat the iraqi nation.. now we finally know that it infact is saddam that has the true religion, the connection with god, jw's was the wrong answer.... i would love to hear his excuse for loosing big time if the war really starts.

This a dyed in the wool religous propganda. No one with half a brain will willing die for Iraq because they are "God's Nation"! Although I must say he does fit the biblical God in that he kill masses of innocent women and children, and tortures anyone who opposes him. Now that I think about it he does seem to have God's backing.

If your huhu dilly starts geting active before a song just stand up real quick and make a bunch of gurgling sounds as you run out the back door to your car. Drive home. Or if your a man about it just prop your song book on it. Try to get someone to look you in the eyes without laughing.
