I don't want JWD to stay. I want Simon to have peace of mind. Nobody should have to put up with the garbage that Simon has been dealing with.
I've been through some of what Simon's going through, and it sucks. It's incredibly stressful, and if I were in his place, I probably wouldn't do a slow shutdown like he's doing. I would probably give everyone a week to say their goodbyes and take the whole damn thing down.
I must say, I think Simon is a saint for doing such a slow shutdown of JWD. He's not leaving everyone out to dry. He's giving everyone fair warning, letting them plan, swap contact information, and decide where we're going to go. I think he deserves much thanks for being tolerant with his personal situation and with our own personal and emotional attachment to this place. He's doing what's best for him and what's best for us. Christ, I sound like a JW putting their faith in Jehovah and his erflee organization!
But seriously, Simon realizes the thousands of members that he's carrying with this site. To dump them off in one full swoop would be too Jehovah-like. Instead, he's making sure you all get off the boat safely before taking it out of the water and putting it on display in a museum for all to fondly remember.

The way I see it, a woman DOES NOT want to have a lover who is basically an equal to one of her girlfriends. It's the manly actions and looks that make women attracted to men. I can safely say the same thing about women: it's the feminine qualities that I love about them. Show me a woman who can beat guys up, drink lots of beer and use a chainsaw, and I'll show you a penis that has gone into hiding.
These 'feminine men' are truly disgusting to me. They are a product of a feminine-run society, where a 'proper man' is portrayed as 'sensitive' and 'caring'. There isn't nothing wrong with these traits in themselves, but when they're overabundant in a man, he turns into a whiny little bitch.
Women may complain that they want their man to be more 'sensitive' and 'caring', but it's the rarity of these qualities that makes the men attractive to women. Once the woman gets what she wants, there is nothing interesting to pursue. It may sound messed up, but it's the quest to bring out these qualities that makes the woman satisfied, not the actual posession of them. -

Got an email this morning that we're finally getting our review and raises next week. We WERE supposed to get them by Apr. 30, but instead we got an excuse about a month ago. But here's the problem, next week I'm on holidays. Go figure.
I've also been searching for a new job. Every place is paying more than here. I've had two interviews at one place. The second interview was pointless. The person I was supposed to meet with wasn't there, so I met with some other guy for like 5 minutes. Seemed like a big waste of time to me. Why didn't he just call and reschedule? Anyway, I'm supposed to have another follow up whenever somebody figures out what's going on. The guy who's setting all this up is a bit of a clueless dumbass. Nevertheless, I'll be phoning them next week.
And here's the kicker. The goddam snack machine at work is empty. At least it has no chips. I don't like eating the chocolate. Anyway, I decided to bite the bullet and get a Hershey's Cookies n Cream located at D10. I put my money in, punched in D-1... and out pops a friggin' pack of gum. It was then that I noted the "10" button. So now I'm here chewing this crappy gum that I didn't want.
Today sucks. On top of it, I'm supposed to count stock. Whoooppeeeee!!!!

if thats the case, why do they portray folks in the new order as fully clothed?
i thought clothing was the result of sin, so once sin is eliminated, should not clothing be also?
