JEHOVAH'S WITNESS TYPES

LMAO! I think we had all of the above at one of ours, we lived in the hood, especially trouble.. hehe

Then there was the old elders daughter, who went on vacation in Hawaii, and couldnt pay her bills, and asked for money, and daddy elder got it for her at the meeting so she wouldnt get her lights cut off. (true story)(and the worst part was she was married to a worldly man who made BIG money.

Belief and enjoying life

i was thinking it must seem kind of strange for someone to hear me say belief is useless and to think less, that will likely mark me as nuts by both stereotypical camps so i thought i explain a bit.. first of all, let me say that as far as i'm concerned there is no reason to think that generally, belief, religious or otherwise can't be an honest attempt at describing reality.

however, that's the whole crux of the matter - i think it's important to distinguish between reality and one's description and model of it.

as accurate as some models may be it can never replace the real thing, certainly not when it's merely concepts in your head.. if you believe the bible, you would agree that creation reveals the glory of god.

Enjoying life seems hard for some, but if they could just learn how, including my self, because i am still alittle uptight sometimes, we would all be better for it.'

I will take one day at a time and keep learning that the simple things in life are what make you happy.

Just a small part of me

this is a small part of me.. it is a strange thing how sometimes only one.

child in a family will be mistreated, while the rest are spared.. it makes it difficult if not impossible to talk about things that happened.

to me without some of my family members expressing disbelief.

ii just heard a story yesterday that will make you sick to your stomach and i can't believe that i once followed such destructive cult thinking.

i over heard a dub father saying that he turned his son into the elders for smoking!!!

his son is now being df'd over his what his dad said.

Do some people love trauma and tragedy?

i have never considered myself to be full of a bunch of trauma and tragedy.

at least when i compare it to some.. have you ever known the type of people though, that always have something new happening that is traumatic.

you know the type, if it isn't a sick child it is a argument.

Well honestly, maybe i could have a tendany to be one of those people. However, i dont love trama, but in a household of 9 people and a pregnant teenager, there is always some trama, or drama as I would like to put it. I dont thrive off of it, but just recently coming out of the org, it has been really nice to share some of the things i have gone through recently with all my new friends, because the stinkin jw org would have looked at me like i was crazy. But I can understand how peoples problems can weigh heavily on you, but I think that makes you a nice person to care.

Hope my stories havent been to tragic or traumatizina.

I was just looking for a place to vent and bitch alittle. lol

anytime somebody call people to account for telling abuse stories that may be false, this place want to kick them off.

but it ok to tell false abuse stories, so long as it make wt look bad.

What to do with the van I bought new

we bought a van 1 year ago this month.

it is a 1995 chevy conversion van, loaded, high top, tv, vcr and game station.

it is really beautiful.
