Bridgestone Blizzak WS70 Winter Tires
by Simon inso, after 3 and a bit winters in canada i finally invested in a set of winter tires.
up till now i've had a good set of all-seasons (goodyear assurance tripletred) and they have been very good even coping with a sudden calgary freeze last winter that saw accordian buses sliding back down the hill we were on (scary!
) and general chaos on the roads.. but, driving on the deerfoot on solid polished sheets of black-ice in rush-hour traffic is not nice and you could feel the car getting more than a little vague at times.

by booby ini think if an (intelligent) questioning jw was able to read the letter about coil binding the book the impact could/should be greater.
this letter should be an embarrassment to the gb.
what blatant and stupid instructions sent to a large group of men who are supposed to be available to instruct in an intelligent way persons coming with an assortment of life's problems.

Toyota Stuck Accelerator
by PEC ini just don't get it, why can't people shift into neutral, when this happens?
in the 1980's, i had a car accelerator stick a few times; before, i found out it was the floor mat, this was a very powerful car for it's day, about 240 hp.
i learned to pull the floor mat down every time i got in the car, no big deal.

i thought it was only a figure of speech, until my mother did it to me for real.
i think i was about 10 at the most, and i said the word "piss", which to my mother was the equvalent of the f-word.

Sorry hit the wrong key. Start again. I also had my mouth washed out with soap. Not for swearing but for telling lies. I also was told that lies lead to loss of life. My younger brother kept on stealing my sweets (candy) so once I took a soft centre chocolate cut the end off and hollowed it out. I then filled it with soap. fitted the end back on with some melted chocolate. When offering it to him he immediately snatched and ate it. He ran to my mother crying telling what I had done. I then got my mouth washed out with soap. How do you like it I was asked? I also got a beating. That was a long time ago. Oh happy days.
