  Go to places where people go to chill and make friends. I used to be incredibly shy, didn't talk to anyone. But now that I'm breaking away from the "truth", I'm a completely different person. I have a co-worker that tells me that there aren't any strangers to me, just people I haven't made friends with yet. I've learned a few drinks loosen me up and then I'm free to talk to anyone. After the initial ice is broken, conversations flow easier.

  Try joining organizations or clubs where people share your interests. We come from an organization minded background, so use that background in making yourself feel comfortable around others with like interests. Bowling club? Pool club? If you live in or around a city, you can find a lot to get into. Just meet people. Aim for friendships. The rest will come later.

  If I knew this before I got married and learned TTATT, I'd be in a completely different situation now.

  The Family Worship Night is a blessing for me (spreads TTATT)

  so because of a new job that i got, i have to stay in my parents' city for 6 months.

  thereafter i can move.. so i am back at my parent's house.

  my dad is fully awakened now, it will just take time for him to accept the invalidity of the blood doctrine and the disfellowshipping doctrine, or anyone for that matter.. my mom was delighted when i said i wanted to join them in the family worship night.

  Great post. Keep these coming as you have family worship nights. I've been holding off on family worship with my wife because I don't quite know how to introduce TTATT in subtle ways to get her thinking. Your post is giving me some good ideas.

  Disney's Haunted House is okay, but Harry Potter rides at Universal Studios are an abomination. I know so many JWs who turn their noses up at Universal Studios because of the Harry Potter rides. It's ridiculous.

  I've started dressing very modest at the meetings. No more fancy matching suits. No more dress pants. Just some comfy cotton twill, button up cotton shirt, and a tie.

  it has been so long since i was at a kingdom ministry school meeting, that i don't remember.

  The only reason you would have a #3 talk this week is if you have the CO visit this week. They postpone the Oral Review until next week and do next weeks talks this week if you have the CO visit.

  In their defense, it is still debated today whether or not aluminum causes cancer. Women are encouraged not to use aluminum cookware when breast feeding. I think the WTS accidentally had some truth to some of their aluminum claims even though they were somewhat out there. All the other quotes, though, show how messed up their minds really were.

  "Germs don't cause disease, vibrations do!" lol That's some crazy vibrations.

  the irony of letter read at meeting this week and CO visit

  the number 3 talk was about organized religion and the householder was lamenting how her church is always asking for money.

  then lo and behold we get a letter read from the branch about more donations!!

  then the visiting co give his his talk on how we should be encouraging our bible studies to share the truth with others.

  This sounds exactly like my meeting last night with our CO. Talk about deja' vu. This is my first CO visit since learning TTATT. I have never been so bored in my life. I used to sit on the edge of my seat dissecting his teaching style, lines of reasoning, etc to see how I could imitate him and become a better teacher and speaker. This time, I sat in the back of my seat with a blank stare on my face thinking "This guy is full of it." (That's being polite.)
