I found the second one on an archive site. Looks like it was published in 1943. It doesn't say who the writer is though.

i came up on a bunch of wbts publications from the 30's through the 70's in my grandma's garage this weekend.
i found information on most of them online, but there are two that i can't seem to find any information on.
the first one is "model study no.

I personally don't know anything about these, but I would love to see them. Do you or a friend have a scanner where you could scan some of these that aren't available on archive sites and make these available to us?
have you heard what the "big announcement" is to be this week.
supposedly the bethel homes will get some announcement today and the congregations will announce the new something by the end of the week..
It'd make sense. There are less and less qualified single brothers and certainly less qualified christian couples that can attend these schools. They have to keep a measure of growth up, so opening this up to sisters would no doubt help fuel this. If true, everyone at the KH will be commenting how this is such a wonderful blessing and privilege.
having a rational mind means having the ability to identify correctly.
is that a delicious mushroom or a poisonous toadstool?
identify correctly and you'll be safe.. is that snake venomous or harmless?
Excellent food for thought. Your writings are definitely more thought provoking than any Wt article I've read (and less mind-numbing/drone-inducing ).
Seriously, thank you.
i downloaded that app (the official thingy) that they call a "library".
i'm sorry but where i come from a library contains loads of books.
this has a few translations of the bible?
I agree it's not quite a library, but I do like the format. I love being able to quickly compare the NWT against other Bibles. I used to use e-Sword for this, but the NWT was not easily available for it as a plugin. The JW Library is going to be more useful to us than the WTBTS intended and may have plenty of unintended consequenses. Any app that
They will be adding more to it so that it is more of a Library. I imagine this will eventually replace our Wt Library CD since this will give them more control over deleting old light. But honestly, I probably won't use the new publications they add anyways. The older books are the real gems, but you'll never find them on any Wt website or application. It'd be too incriminating.
On a side note, I got this working on my Kindle the other night, so I'm happy about that.
at the moment i can't get these books, they are not available as ebooks and i can't risk having them in the house.
but i have heard so much about them and how helpful they are that i am just wondering if any who have read them can give some insights they have gained from them that would be useful to know.
thanks in advance.
I'm looking forward to seeing this in ebook format one day (hopefully early 2014 is right). I also notified Amazon that I want it in PDF format. I encourage anyone else that can spare a few minutes of time to go to Amazon and request the same so this book can be made more accessible to those of us learning, fading, or leaving the WTBTS discreetly. Maybe this will spur them on to releasing it sooner.
Here is the link to the book.

If you scroll down to the "Product Details" there is a link at the right side of the screen that says "Notify The Publisher! I'd like to read this book on Kindle." Click this link to submit your request.

I remember the 21st night of September.
have you seen it?
there are some fine brothers and sisters just waiting for a hookup!
check it out..
I remember seeing a hot Australian sister on there. I said this has to be too good to be true. So I never signed up. This site is just like all the other dating sites, imho, although I admit I never have tried it. I met my wife the old fashioned way..............a friend of a friend of a cousin of a friend.
the word hoax is thought to be derived from the magician's utterance of silly "hocus-pocus" so-called magic incantation.. this is jibberish, of course--a fake latin-sounding phrase mimmicking the priest's words in catholic mass changing wine into the "actual" blood of christ.. yeah.. only a conscious attempt to deceive separates a hoax from an otherwise mistake or urban myth.. according to folklorist jan brunvand, a 'hoax tends to indicate "relatively complex and large-scale fabrications" and includes deceptions that go beyond the merely playful and "cause material loss or harm to the victim".brunvand, jan h. "If any overzealous doctor condemns your tonsils go and commit suicide with a case-knife. Its cheaper and less painful." (Golden Age, April 7, 1926, p. 438)
Terry,
Where did you source your quote at? I've been trying to find a PDF of of the 1926 Golden Age's, but it has been somewhat elusive. You don't happen to have a copy do you? Thanks.

Carla, Here's your quote.
