  Let the shunning begin!

  boy, this has just been my lucky week.

  twice in one week i was the recipient of "active shunning" by former congregation members.. scene one-the local discount food place where all the blue collar folks (and a few smart upper crust ones) buy their food.

  i'm busy grocery shopping and sister zealous comes marching down the other side of the aisle, dutifully studying the cans on said shelf.

  My first impulse was to laugh at these stupid dubs,what a mentality some of them have.I wasn't good at the shunning thing,alwys spoke to the df'd anyhow.The rebel in me I guess. But when you think of what it might do to those who are depressed it's not so funny anymore.I hope that as more and more people find places like this they will feel more indifferent about being shunned and hopefully even laugh about it.Poor folks in Afrika who don't have access to the internet like we have,like they don't have problems enough as it is.

  Freein86,don't let your sister play that game for the WT and against you.Tell the people what's going on in the "truth" and just how "loving" they are, shunning is a despicable act that deserves to be reveiled in public.See who i ashamed then.

  Rebel, you are a very patient person.Next time that woman comes to your house tell her that if she wants to come in she'll have to behave in a decent manner and that you NEVER will accept to be shunned in the privacy of your OWN HOME.God,that makes me mad.

  I´m so sorry for you,I wish the people who do this to others could feel the pain they make others suffer.Maybe one day his eyes will be opened and he´ll come to you looking for your friendship and help.You never know. In the mean while go out and make REAL friends who don´t throw you away on the command of others.

  I have said it before and will say it again: the WT and it´ds dubs are like a mother who eats her own chikldren.

  i don't think she has posted this yet.

  mulan called me yesterday afternoon to tell me her dad had suffered a stroke.

  i did talk to my dad last night and he seemed to think that grandpa was going to be ok. i had a birthday party with nine little girls all afternoon and was completely out of touch as a result.. i think she could use a hug, don't you?.

  my youngest son had his last exam today.

  that gives him a good start at high school don t you think?

  sending him to private school has sometimes been an economic struggle for me,but we had an agreement: i pay without complaining and you bring home the good grades without complaining.we both kept our promise.

  My youngest son had his last exam today. Another A+. That gives him a good start at high school don´t you think?

  Sending him to private school has sometimes been an economic struggle for me,but we had an agreement: I pay without complaining and you bring home the good grades without complaining.We both kept our promise. I´m so proud of him.For about 18 months he missed so much out in school because of the brain tumor thing and later on his broken leg,and yet he comes home with straight a´s.

  We went to the fjord and walked with the dog,discussing his plans for his life.I know he´s going to be a very good doktor.And you bet this momma is going to give him a great party!!!!

  But that´s not all.The big boy has just called me and told he´s got his PhD. Working and studying-I respect him so much. You bet I´ll give him a party too.

  Sometimes life is to good for words.
